Seeing how I loved the Hot Like Sauce, I had high hopes for this one. While it did not disappoint, it was certainly different since it did not have the same base beer. On draft at 7venth Sun. Pours amber with a white head. Nose is sweet malt, cilantro, some earthy peppers, and mild burn. Flavor follows with some mild cilantro, some nice malt character and mild earthy peppers that burn for just a minute and then dissipate. A top-notch pepper beer overall.

For the record, i wanted to hate this beer simply because it contained the devil’s weed aka ... cilantro. But, i did not hate it, in fact i really enjoyed it. Super subtle hints of soapy gross cilantro, easy to ignore, nose was slight;y hot, good malt backbone. Flavor was sharp heat, sweet malt and hints of herbal veggies.

Pours a light amber with a paperthin head. Aroma of pepper cilantro and tropical fruit. Taste is saison yeast, peppers, cilantro and tropical fruits. Finish is pepper heat. Very interesting, spice and fruit intensify as it warms
