Sample at the Seventh Sun Tap Room. Pours a dark brown with a tan head. Nose is chocolate, milk chocolate, vanilla beans, marshmallows, smores, and whiskey with bits of heat. Flavor is wonderfully blended sample of the roast and chocolate of the stout blending with the vanilla, whiskey, and wood to produce notes of smores, chocolate, coconut, cocoa, and maybe some coffee. This one is a swirling vortex of many-layered flavor, and only time and dedication will bring one into contact with all of them. Medium in body and smooth as hell in mouthfeel. World-class beer.

Dark brown pour. Nice brownish head. Aroma is so sweet, love that PR barrel! Cocoa, vanilla, bourbon, oak. Flavor is much the same. Sweet, rich, whiskey, bourbon, vanilla, oak...damn fine. Great share by the owner himself. Thanks!
