Bottle at Papsø. Dark brown coloured with a small beige head. Roasted aroma of caramel, bread and coffee. Roasted flavour of coffee with notes of c aramel and berries. Roasted finish.

500 ml bottle. From beersofeurope.co.uk.
Dark brown colour with big frothy light tan head. Stunning vegetable and herbal aroma with ginger (?) and mold. Yeast, mild liquorice, dry malt, lots of that vegetable (elderberry?) in flavour. Quite drinkable. Almost enjoyable.

(bottled) It drank like a fucking Porter with Elderberry juice in it and there’s little to say or reflect. Cool biege head was gigantic.

bottle at home ... deep brwn black ... thin bubbly tan head .. deep light smokey roast ... over fizzy... dark roast ... hint of berry ... asssume elderberry ... ok but not in great condition

Pours dark ruby red colour with light head. Aroma is berries, herbal notes, malts and some toffee. Flavour is dark roasted malts, herbs, berries and some ash-dry chocolate. Balanced, medium-bodied.

Bottle (from Beers Of Europe). Very deep ruby colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is nutty, chocolate, some berries, mild notes of earth and some toasted notes. Flavour is berries, chocolate, some toasted notes as well as some mild nutty notes. Quite bitter and mild wooden sourness as well.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is dark roasted malty and toffee. Lingering toasted malty and caramelish. Slight bitter and herbal finish.

Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Clear dark/brown - offwhite head. Roasted, nutty, coffee, amber malts, raisins, berries, sweetness, ryebread, elderberries, nice roasted finish.

Clear dark brown red colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dusty coffee, elderberries. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110622]

hazy very dark brown, smooth light yellow head. roasted aroma, very roasted, charchoal, burnt painted wood. flavor is roasted and charchoal malts, faint fruitiness, very roasted brrew, but the roast flavor is more like charchoal or burnt industrial wood. not very delicate.
