Bottle. Cloudy golden beer with a strong white head. The aroma is quite sour and citric, and the flavour is bitter, quite sour and dry at the finish. Overall a fairly average golden ale.

500ml bottle (ChrisO’s post-GBBF2011 Tuesday)
Ewwwww, this has turned. It’s soured to fuck. You can see there was a nice beer underneath, some of the malt sugars are still there, and there’s a fruity hoppiness, but dem bloody bacteria done gone fucked it up. Should rerate when it’s not sour.

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2011 500ml bottle, best before December 2011, from Beers of Europe. Straw colour. Fluffy white head. Nice condition. Strong hoppy aroma - grassy and citric. Strong citrus on the palate too. Clean and fruity. Very decent. Maybe just a touch sweet for my taste. Pithy lemon, with a tart verging on sour twist, in the aftertaste makes for a refreshing drop. If there is any infection here, it hasn’t done it too much harm from my perspective.

Bottle (from Beers Of Europe). Hazy yellow colour with a mediumsized foamy/creamy white head that leaves quite much lace. Aroma is fruits, some honey and quite mild herbal notes as well. Pleasant. Flavour is fruits, some mild tart wooden notes as well as mild earthy and herbal notes. Not sure if the tartness is from an infection or not, but still pleasantly dry due to the tartness.

Bottle. Hazy gold with a white foam. Aromas are yeast with spiced oranges and lemon. Flavours are dry, spritzy yeast with bitter lemon. Quite tart and possibly a bit tainted. Not very good.
