Very fruity aroma bringing pineapple, orange, mango and other tropical fruits to the nose. Very dark brown with a crimson tint and nice lacing against the glass. Taste is very fruity with an almost raspberry flavor upfront with a thick caramel/molasses malt backbone. The finish leaves a lingering fruity note on the palate. Overall, this is nice. Much more fruity than I had anticipated, nice alcohol sting on the finish. I’d give this an A rating.

Medium brown head. Clear deep dark red body with carbonation. Strong malty caramelly raisiny aroma with gooseberry and wine grape notes. Dry-sweet roasty burned caramelized sugar taste with spicy wooden gooseberry notes. Mid-to-full body. Mild, slightly hot mouthfeel. Aftertaste is very similar to main taste, and lasts for a long time, with resiny notes. Very, very nice. Full of delicious flavour, complex, harmonic and unusual. (0.5l bottle, from Kihoskh, Copenhagen.)

Farven er mørk mahogni, med et lavt hvitt skum. Aroma av vanilje, toffee og noe citrus. Smaken er vinøs, men med markert bitterhet. Toner av karamell, honning og furu. En meget god øl.

Bottle provided by argo0. Thanks! Poured a copper-amber color with a small white head. Aroma was light, sweet malts, some caramel. Flavor was light caramel, sweet malts. That’s about it.

Bottle, shared with BBGTC. Pours a deep ruby-hued brown body with a small, creamy off-white head retention. Nose is sweet raisiny malts, caramel, toffee, wet leaves, perfume, hints of chlorine(!) and pine in the back. Unusual, but pleasant. Taste is licorice, pine, raisins, toffee, caramel, hints of chocolate, cola nut and resin. Lovely and complex, just hittin’ the spot as a primo sipper candidate. Full body, medium carbonation. Grand, sweet, and pretty damn awesome! :-)
