Bottle, at TFODRBSG-12. A clear looking dark brown beer topped by a dense, light beige head leaving some lacings. Lovely hoppyness in the aroma, pine cones, resins and some grapefruit, along with some caramel, roasted notes and malty sweetness. Caramel, some roasted notes and most of all, hops in the flavor. Nice bitterness, as well as pine cones, grapefruit peel and some citrus. Full-bodied. A quite lovely one, certainly one I’d very much like to have more of. 120818

Bottle from Bine & Vine. Pours dark amber with a creamy beige head. Aroma is sort of a Vienna with leather. Med body. Flavor is a confusion. Definitely quite bitter. Certainly lightly smoky. I just do not know how to dissect and describe this very beautiful ale. Lovely stuff.
