Bottle, bought @ Kihoskh, Cph.
Deep fat amber with a medium, staying, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is nice, fat caramelly malts, strawberries, peach, piney, red currants. Lots of red berries really. Vinious. Medium carbonation, lovely creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has loads of fat caramelly malts, strawberries again, piney bitter, raspberries. Mildly warming and vinious. A very interesting, dark fruity and full DIPA.

500mL bottle, pours a dark amber with a small beige head. The nose is pretty much a mix of a scotch ale, a barley wine and an IPA, with caramel malts, dark fruits, and a mild hop presence somewhere underneath - hinting at a fairly high sweetness - also some metallic notes. Flavour is much hoppier and IPA-like than the nose suggests, with caramel malts and maple syrup as the backbone, and some mighty pungent hops screaming out on top. A fairly pronounced hop bitterness lingers on the finish. Not sure I understand the intention of mixing these three styles and also not sure it works overly well. Interesting experiment at least.
