500ml bottle in a plastic cup. Pours brown with a lacy head. Aroma of caramel and chocolate malts, coffee, and some floral hops. Flavor the same with a good blend of coffee, floral hops, and malts. Average texture. A pretty good brown ale.

Medium brown hue. Burnt toffee nose with molasses. Sweet with plenty of chocolate & a hint of coffee. Quite a bitter end too. Lovely.

Poured from bottle. Pours like a typical brown ale. Doesnít retain a lot of head.
Smell - Loads of coffee! I really like the smell of the coffee, you can tell its gonna be good.
Taste - wow! Who would have thought a coffee brown ale, could have as much depth as a stout. This is a great beer. Taste follows the nose beautifully. Itís a little thin on the palate, but itís a brown ale, not a stout, so thatís expected. If youíre a coffee lover, youíll love this. I put this right up there with some of the top coffee stouts. So well balanced. You would never guess this is 8%, the alcohol is extremely well hidden. Highly recommend.

With Z, pours a í semi clear í rusty brown color with an ethereal Java head. Nose is fresh coffee grinds with some mocha in the background. Taste is sweet coffee with sugary mocha notes. Finishes on the same sweet coffee notes with a moderately long finish. Drinks quite easily, and would have guessed a much lower ABV . Quaff score 8 / 10

Bottle. Pours a clear brown with a tan head and nice strong roasted coffee aroma. Taste is full of coffee up front. Nice roasted bitterness, chocolate, and caramel with sweet, hoppy notes and coffee filled finish. Very drinkable coffee brown ale

>> Amber brown pour, weak yellow foam. Nose is green pepper, jalapeŮos, that bell pepper style of old grindy coffee. Taste is weak, mealy apple, dusty, old bottle probably, brown sugar, tea flavor finish.

This is good, but Iím not a huge hoppy brown ale fan and the coffee doesnít seem to add anything to me. Appearance is great with a huge tan head that slowly settles some lace, and a clear amber brown color. Aroma is a faint brown ale. Flavor is basically a coffee flavored hoppy brown ale. Body is good. Iíll drink this one, but donít want another.

On tap at the Local Taphouse, Darlinghurst. Cola colour with small beige head. Coffee and toffee aromas, with the taste reflecting the same notes, with some bourbon notes too. Quite light bodied, increasing the drinkability. Enjoyable and fairly well balanced between bitter and sweet.

Bottle. Brewdog, Sheffield. Clear, chestnut brown. Minimal, beige head. Pear drops. Coffee. Chocolate. Caramel. As it warms, the pear drop thing lifts, and the caramel and coffee deepens. Taste is full on bitter. Both hoppy, and roast malt. Some coffee astringency on the palate. Stays smooth, and rich. Finishes long, pithy, roast coffee bitter. A grower. By the time Iíd finished this, I was loving it...
