On nose - fresh, unroasted coffee beans, darker malts. Pours deep reddish ambery with off-white top, min lasing. Taste - malt(simple and good) sweetness with coffee roast bitter, to me almost no from hopping. Interesting mix, equally mixed, no overwhelming aspect. Medium body, quite thick texture, light dry finish. Weird but interesting flavor mix of fresh coffee beans and roast bitter.

First impression was green coffee beans. .a lots of them. Then comes quite intense maltiness, bit roasted malts, caramel, coffee. Some fruitiness with decent hop balance. Bit dry finish.
Really enjoyable brew with no weakness for brown ale

Tap at Hop Revolution 2013. Nose came across as just coffee, which I didn’t dig so much. Nice malt flavor kicks in, though, with caramel and chocolate going with the coffee. Good body. Rich and malty. An interesting, somewhat different coffee beer.

8wired fouble coffe brown ale
Tap @ Hoprevolution Vol.2. Aroma is full of caramel, sweet wig fruit - and actually not too much coffee. Well, maybe a bit. Coffee-chocolate. Caramel pudding. You can feel coffee creme cake and some more coffee chocolate in the taste. At the end there is espresso, a nice espresso, coming through and dominating the taste. Maybe this is the best coffee beer that I have ever had. Aftertaste is long, full of coffee and malt sweetness. With some hops of course. This beer is made for sipping, not for gulping.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2014 Very burnt coffee taste and aroma but nice floral happiness underneath characteristic of 8wired beers. Interesting. Nice cloudy brown color with nutty head. Taste is chocolate, nuttiness, burnt coffee and hops underneath it all. If the burnt coffee taste was a bit less prominent, or a bit less burnt tasting, this would be delicious.
