UPDATED: JUL 26, 2014 Yum. Refreshing, citrusy, hoppy bitterness but not as much as you'd think.

Rich amber beer with a dark cream head. Lemon and sauvignon blanc aroma. Grapefruit and white grape flavor with light pine. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and tangerine lingers with white grape and light pine.

Bottle from Slowbeer. Orange-copper, slightly hazy, small white head, floral, passionfruit, sweet peaches, quite oily texture, resiny bitterness. Really nice.

∆ Poured From Bottle. Strong Passion Fruit, Loads Of Oranges, Some Pine Maybe. Copper Colored. Medium Head. Meets Its Aroma Pretty Well. Nice Strong Bitterness, Pretty Sweet Aswell. Hints of Alcohol Comming Through. Soft Carbonation. Medium Thick Body. Liked It a Lot. Will Drink It Again.

Sweet floral hops, clear not too dark copper colour, fruitiness is combined with bitterness upon tasting, lovely IPA, minus the citrus hops but plus fruity earthy hops.

sulawang (613) - British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 30, 2013
Visual: Pours cloudy golden orange with a small creamy head, very long thin layer of retention, lacing, lots of steady activity. Nose: strawberries and faint citrus. (3)-aromatic strength Attack: incoming hops, creamy mouthfeel Mid-palate: (4)-sweetness that quickly dissipates, (MAIN) passion fruit, grapefruit (HINT) peach, light caramel malt Finish: sharp grapefruit bitterness, lingering hoppy bitterness. Summary: This one is all about the heavy bitter hops that last longer than the energizer bunny. Mainly citrusy with some passion fruit flavour in there but way too hoppy bitter without the sweetness/brightness to balance it out. Too heavy to sip alone. (Note: numbers above are on a 10-point weak-strong scale)

The head is good, the body orange-red, It smells hoppy, flowery, interesting, good. The taste is interesting, hoppy, creamy, a bit bitter, flowery, refreshing. Nice!

Appearance: a darker gold color, very hazy, not transparent, pours with no head Aroma: bread, grain, spice, butter, something very unique about this aroma, perhaps some barnyard rotten egg Taste: initially a strong grain and then followed immediately by hops and bitterness, grass, pine, coffee, spice Palate: moderate to lively c02, leaves a bitter aftertaste, lighter mouthfeel Overall: don't know where the aroma comes from because I don't get any of the wildness in the taste, very good taste by the way, lots of grain and hops which is my favorite ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

K, I know at this point this isnít exactly "fresh" hopped at this point but my mule is concrete hard in anticipation. Cloudy orange hue and a small, compact light tan chapeau and thick lacing. Very fragrant tropical notes, gooseberries, guava, oranges, salt, peanut skins. Really excellent. This beer dranks pretty good. Got a hoppy wine like character. Tropics, lemon, light spice, thickness, light malt base, man - that Canada Post Edmonton Oilers 63Ę stamp with the cheering fan in the background is HORRENDOUS! Makes me laff every time. Marshmallow only in passing, this isnít a wimpy beer - all flavour. Iíve really enjoyed this. Almost time for popcorn and rhe daily prostate exam. Tropical everything. NZ IPAís rule.

Enjoyed with Lagerboy over some whiffle. copper orange, nice head, thick lacing. BAM!! exlosive fresh hops, chewy resignous palate. this one is worth it. It has some fruity tones, but ulytimatley feels like you are gnawing on some fresh picked hops... May not be as well rounded as some would like, but its my type of Hoppy shot to the tonsils. Thanks for the treat Lagerboy. Cheers
