Bottle. Poured a darkish amber with some hazying. Decent billowy offwhite head. Plenty of lacing. Fresh hop aromas show tropical fruits, citurs and pine needles. A little light caramel in the back to provide some balance. Good stuff. Taste is initially sweet before a resiny bitter finish, Agree with the comments about the oily nmouthfeel. Medium body. Good stuff.

(Rating #4354)

bottle, from Triangle Wine. Ok aroma, sweet. mild pine, some citrus, little honey. little wet carboard. hazed brownish orange color, small head, little to no lace. bitter sweet flavor. Medium body, creamy oily mouthfeel, bitter finish. think this one is past it’s prime, I’m getting the start of oxidization. I’m always leary of imported ipa’s and this didn’t do anything to change my mind. I don’t get any of the big citrus some comment on.

Pours a lightly cloudy golden look with a faint white head. Notes of orange and grapfruit zest, green mango and other tropical fruits hints. Some notes of herbs, malt and cookie dough too. Herbs and a very light hint of honey i th taste, very subtle. Citrus notes too. Light sweetness and lightly bitter. Medium body, oily feel, soft carbonation and a fresh dry and mild bitter finish. Good one.

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2012 Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours a hazy orange colour with an off white frothy head. Good lacing. The nose is awesome on this one heaps of grapefruit, mango, pineapple...like a tropical fruit juice and with subtle sweet caramel and biscuit malts. Taste maintains the mango, grapefruit and tropical flavours blended with a strong hop presence. Quite earthy tasting and the mango really freshens this one up. Feels smooth with a dry and bitter finish. Fantastic beer
