Sampled from bottle at PIB, pours clear golden / copper with a small beige head. Aroma of pungent citrus peel, mango and other sort of muted tropical fruits - doesn’t exactly strike me as a fresh hop IPA. Flavour of mangos, citrus peels, some yeast. A little dull - perhaps this is old. Would hate to think the festival would serve an old fresh hop. Decent one, but seems dull and muted a bit.

A nice fresh hopped beer, herbal/pine bitter profile meets light malt body. Herbal vegetative notes dominate.

Bottle. Pours orange with a huge white head. Citrus, lychee, yeast and caramel notes in the aroma. Lots of reisin and burned caramel notes in taste. Very bitter, almost medicinal. Well made, but a bit to bitter for my taste.

suprchunk (1451) - Heinsberg, GERMANY - JUL 20, 2012
Slightly hazed amber color. Small off-white head. Some lacing. A black tea and slight hop aroma. Some notes of malt and biscuit. Peppery hop flavor, but very muted. Some malt notes, some slight fruit notes. Not as hop forward as its base beer. Actually doesn’t even seem like the same beer as the base beer. Not bad.

maneliquor (1705) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUL 20, 2012
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours a deep copper-ruby with a small but firm off white head. Leaves lovely lacing all the way down. Nose is very fruit driven. Sweet passion fruit, melon and mango with a touch if resin. Almost has herbal notes. Herbal tones seem more prominent in the taste. Melon is very big on the finish. Sweet tropical and citric fruits come into play at various stages on the palate. Palate is a touch resinous which works. Soft carbonation helps it transition well and goes down way too quickly. Leaves you puckering for more. Good beer

Ungstrup (26476) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 19, 2012
Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, lemons, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of hops, lemons, grass, and alfa acid, as well as medium notes of toffee and malt, leading to a very bitter finish.

Bomber. Pours thick and hazy orangy with 1-finger well-retained off-white head. Nose is resiny hops, tangerine, mango, pineapple. Tastes resiny, piney and hoppy, with a lot of black peppery flavor, some florals, tangerine, and pineapple. This one is a solid IPA.
