Thx. to Bart for this one // 50 cl. bottle sampled @ RBBSG 2012 // along with the regular one // the story behind this one is pretty cool // darker shade of amber with a solid white head // nose is lots and lots of hops, bitter marmalade, oranges, neslon with a touch of sweeter marmalade // taste is full on hop blast of bitter marmalade, oranges, quite bitter hops, lots of bitter exotic hops, bitter tangerine ending, bit atypical actually for the hops used even if this is very, very hoppy // body has been overtaken by the hops, feeling wise // quite interesting, I think right about everyone preferred the regular one including me

Bottle. Pours a dark orange color with a white head. Aroma is of tropical fruits, like pineapple, mango, some white grape notes, orange and tangerine with some caramel malt. The flavor is no way near as hoppy as the aroma indicated, so I guess this is an older bottle. I get the tropical fruit notes, some grapefruit and orange, but lots of caramel and sweet malt in there with toffee notes. The body is medium with a dry mouth feel. Overall a pretty good IPA, that I am sure is amazing fresh!

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy amber with an off-white head. Very fresh and intense tropical fruit aroma from the hops. Medium-bodied, first a little caramel but otherwise extremely fruity, plenty of notes of ripe blackcurant from the Kiwi hops. Dry and hoppy finish. Lovely. 090812

Pours slight hazy deep golden/copper with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, pine, citrus and grass. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, at TFODRBSG-12. An unclear, amber beer topped by a dense, off-white head. The aroma has caramel, some cat pee notes and a peachy touch. A bit boring and lacking on hops. Caramel, peaches, citrus and some piney notes in the flavor. Medium body, pleasant carbonation. Rather short finish. Probably not as fresh as it should be any longer. 120818
