4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is hops, mild pine and citrus. Flavor is intensely hopped but with a strong fruitiness. Definitely a strain of hop I’m not familiar with, very interesting though. Finish is a little dry, could be a little rounder and better balanced. Other than that this is a fantastic beer.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draught at Mikkeller. Pours amber with a fine off white head and severe lacings. Aroma is wonderful: pine, peach, mango and sweet malts. Taste is almost as convincing. Long, delicate bitterness and oily mouthfeel. Great IPA!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the Roundhouse, Hong Kong. Pours dark amber, slight white head. Nose is pungent hop spice/earth, very sugary caramel. Flavour is sweet but balanced pretty well with the dirt hops. Finishes semisweet. Pretty sticky. Has a lot of depth.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
500ml bottle. Pours a hazy medium amber, with a moderate off-white head, which lasts well and leaves good lacing. Kiwifruit, lychee, mild mango and floral hops mix with soft toffee to create the aroma. Kiwifruit and mango hops up front give way to burnt caramel malt in the mid-palate. Melon and floral hops come in at the finish. A nice IPA, with good NZ hops flavours.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Fresh bottle from Sherbrooke Liquor in YEG, AB. Pours a deep golden amber with a foamy white head, tons of nice lacing. Aroma is of hops and malts, not as aromatic as any other 8-Wired offering (and I have tried 90% of them) which is odd. Taste is amazing. Like the original the NZ hops are fresh, vibrant and citrusy to the max. Tons of tropical flavours from kiwis, guavas, pineapples to tangerines and nectarines. Nice malt backbone that isn’t overpowering. My only minor complaint about the original was that I would like the hops a bit wetter and this delivers it for me. A truly sublime beer!

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
This beer is their seasonal release, it showcases 2 remarkable NZ hops. For a beer that contains only wet hops, aside from a bittering addition it is amazing. Bottle and tap, bright with a elegant lacing in a clean glass. Huge aromas of resinous green and tropical notes of near overripe fruit. Sublte sandlewood undertones. On the pallet again resinous and oily, yet crsip and dry. A pronounced malt character holds up the fruity spiced hop flavours. Finishes with a smooth bitterness, and a alluring oilyness that makes you want another sip...fresh is best. Wow
