Sweet and fruity with some toffee. Bitter finish is not dry but has lush tropical fruits, herbaceous grass and a bit of pine. Alcohol hidden. A bit sweet for me but good.

Cloudy orange pour from bottle. Frothy head. Fruity floral aroma. Delicious. Slight bitterness, great hops. Spices and citrus subtle backbone. Awesome IPA overall

Aroma has surprising amount of caramel malt which then recedes a bit and allows the fruity, grassy, citrusy and piney hops to start spilling over. The delicious oily mouthfeel makes it feel like drinking liquid, beer-flavoured caramel. Lots of activity in the after taste, the usual citric and piney suspects, and also a hint of strawberries and cream.

From a bottle poured a dark amber color with a small amount of head. Light malty flavor with a quick finish.

fantastic, aromas of grassy citrus and passionfruit, that continues into he flavour along with tangelo and well-placed breadiness. very fresh hop bitterness. delicious.

UPDATED: MAY 16, 2013 On tap at Pomeroys in Christchurch. Nice amber colour with creamy head. Tastes of pine and citrus and malt flavours and lovely after taste on the palate. This was one of the beers I came to NZ to try and wasn?t disappointed. Like the Super Conductor, fantastic beer and lives up to its high reputation. All in all a great beer and right up there with the best.

Nice citrus, passionfruit & hemp. Nice texture, a tad too bitter and I liked the standard Hopwired a tad better.
