Malty, nutty but mainly too hoppy than I prefere a brown ale to be.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 reebtogi (3266) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 1, 2013
UPDATED: MAY 2, 2013 500ml bottle pours a deep amber color with a finger and a half of light beige head that settles to reveal some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is light roasted grains with hints of chocolate and citrus. Taste is a light roasted grain and citrus hop bitterness balanced nicely with a chocolate malty sweetness. A pretty well done brown ale that I recommend others to try it.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Reimer96 (594) - Alberta, CANADA - APR 26, 2013
Pours a clear dark brown with a big frothy brown head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of citrusy and grassy hops, slight roasted malt, hint of caramel sweetness. Taste is grassy hops, roasted malts, coffee and sweet toffee on the finish with a nice dry finish and a smooth bitterness on the end. Very good hoppy brown ale and another beauty from 8 wired.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 andrewturba (456) - Alberta, CANADA - APR 26, 2013
Pours a dark transparent brown with big initial off white head that slowly amounts to a healthy ring around the glass and spotty through the middle. Aroma is citrus, bready, caramel, and mildly fruity. Flavour is medium bitter citrus, bready, nutty, light sweetness and a dry finish.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Rangi (381) - NEW ZEALAND - APR 19, 2013
Big frothy white head that sticks round really well. Beer has a red tinge to an over all dark deep brown clear appearance and nice medium carbonation.
Aroma of bitter malt. Taste is much the same a bit of a let down something bitter, coffee like but more estringent. Was expecting a inviting and mellow beer, this is not. Bitter malt dominates this beer and unfortunatly not enjoying.
3.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 adamah (63) - - APR 19, 2013
Very malty and full of caramel flavors yet it had a very satisfying bitter finish. The aroma was a little lacking for me but I did enjoy the full body and high carbonation.
