Bottle from Bierkompass!
Pours orange golden with creamy white head. Smells fruity yeasty, floral hoppy, with some berries. Starts bitter hoppy, very fruity, slight sourish yeasty with grape and floral hops. Middle part has sweet yeast, grapes and berry fruits. Goes into a floral and herbal hoppy finish with some grapes. Yummi yummi

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: SEP 11, 2013 Makes a change from their excellent pale ales (both semi and super strength varieties). But not something I could drink much of - too strong for a Saison to be honest.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Light clean fruity nose of apples and peaches. with some discreet yeast notes. Hazy orange/amber color with a massive (really) chunky head. Some rich condensed peaches and caramel flavors in initial / phenolic character and more fruit in mid / finishes with some fruit burn and/or hop burn. Medium body. A bit heavy for a saison. Full of straightforward flavors. Don’t get the Sauvin much. The phenolic bit doesn’t help, though.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pale clouded appearance, good lacing and aromas of tropical breakfast juice. Flavours of grapefruit and gentle banana yeasts. There is sweetness at the front of the palate which leads into a long, bitter finish and a dry mouthfeel. I expected a bit more from this beer but was slightly disappointed.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Appearance: Medium amber with a slight haze, finger thick white head.
Aroma: Lychee, mango, vinous, floral, biscuity/bready, subtle hay notes and a int of pepper. Underlying honey/syrup sweetness.
Taste: Low sweetness, medium/high bitterness, medium sourness, vinous, grassy and peppery.
Palate: Medium texture and body, prickly carbonation, astringent lingering finish. Bitterness and sourness increase in the mouth as time goes on with a high level of bitterness in the finish.
Comments: Vert tasty and refreshing. I prefer bitterness to sweetness so this one appealed to me but might not be everyones cup of tea. Left a glass lace.

(Draught at Mikkeller & Friends, Copenhagen, 13 July 2013) Golden amber colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, spicy nose with orange peel, spicy yeast and herbs. Fruity, malty taste with notes of peaches, citrus, grass, spicy yeast and a good saison character with a generous earthy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, quite dry. Well made and tasty. Nice one.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a hazy blonde with a small-ish head and decent lacing on the glass.
The aroma is fruity with some nice mango character, is floral and crackery as well.
The flavor is nicely bitter with a good fruity mango character, it’s got a nice brightness and is almost grapey at times. The beer is spicy & dry.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Absolute mess. This is a Nelson Sauvin hop bomb!
Aroma: It is abscured by Nelson...no fruity aroma or spice only Nelson wine/grape like aroma. No spice detected or yeast phenols.
Appearance: Golden in color, nice head, and "Belgian lace." Very effervescent. Looks the part of a Saison...
Flavor: Low fruitiness and spice flavors. The tartness the grape/wine of the Nelson hops overwhelms the palate. The bitterness is high and not balanced.
Mouthfeel: Very light body typical of a Saison but the drinkability is inhibitted by the astrigent hop bitterness on the back end. This beer leaves you with a near puckering sourness/bitterness.
Overall: This is the worst Saison I have ever tasted. The Nelson Sauvin hops overwhelm the characteristics of the Saison. It is not refreshing due to the high bitterness and tartness of the Nelson Sauvin hops. I cannot taste or smell any Belgian characteristics in this Farmhouse Ale.
