Bottle at tasting. Golden pour, white head. Aroma of citrus, white grape and a little yeast. Taste is dry, with subtle dry yeast and a lot of Nelson Sauvin hops. White grape, citrus and a bitter finish. Very nice.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Tap at Craft Beer Rising (London, 19 February 2015)
Clean straw yellow with sparse clean white foam.
Extremely strong aromas of pineapple and mango. The most tropical nose Iíve ever smelled.
The palate is completely dry but shows extremely juicy & refreshing guava, mango and passion fruit (I feel as if Iím practically on the beach as I drink this). Medium bodied and lightly carbonated with a light tartness. Extremely fruit forward and a perfect dry beach beer. I could drink this by the gallon.

Nice balanced saison with goos sour/bitter balance. 500ml bottle from Bottle Shop HK. Pale cloudy straw colour with small white head. Aroma of fresh grass, gooseberries. Taste is the same with strong bitterness and soft on the palate.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a lovely light golden colour with minimal white head.
Light fruity aroma, doesn't give a lot away. I approached this anxiously, unsure what to expect from a hopped out saison. It's safe to say I'm a fan. I'm not sure how true to style it is but it is damn tasty! Passionfruit and apricot, good carbonation, a brilliantly refreshing drop, perfect for a hot summer afternoon.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aromas of pears, grapes, and flowers give way to peppery phenols and an earthy grounding. Taste brings in spicy phenols and sour grapes. Pours gold as a pilsner but with a larger, fluffier, white head. It feels light, dry and spritzy. Excellent saison.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours hazy gold with two fingers of fluffy loose white head, excellent retention and moderate lacing. (4/5) Nose is strong vinous Sauvin hops, citrus, slight funk. (8/10) Taste is moderate sweet, moderate bitter, mild peppery spice. (8/10) Medium body, soft carbonation, off-dry slightly peppery bitter finish. (4/5)
Wow - this has got to be the clearest, most emphatic implementation of the Nelson Sauvin hops Iíve seen so far. This thing really does smell an awful lot like a sauvignon - hard to believe thereís no grapes in there! To some extent, thatís unfortunate, because it tends to overwhelm the other saison flavours which actually are there, but lurking in the shadows of the big Sauvin hop punch. That being said, I really do like those Sauvin hops, so thatís not entirely a bad thing. Really interesting, and another solid performer from a brewery Iím really starting to appreciate. (16/20)
