IPAs are great but sometimes you just don’t want the amount of alcohol that comes with most of the good ones. In this spirit we brewed Semiconductor. an IPA designed to be drunk by the gallon, if you are that thirsty.

Clear golden. Dense, hugeband persistent white head. Equally good lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus and tropical fruits. Similar taste with good bitterness. A superbly balanced and refreshing low-alcohol IPA.

Tap@mikkeller friends. Golden clear small head. Faint hoppy piny notes. Quite bitter with light mouthfeel. The bitterness rules. Solid but not a IPA in my World.

Great sessionable IPA, or as a beer for those looking to dabble in IPA's before getting hooked on hops

Bottle from Vaaland, Bryne. Pours clear dark golden with a huge frothy white head. Aroma is inviting shy fruity hops and pine. Taste is dry, with citrus and piney hops, high carbonated.Clean dry & fresh mouthfeel. Lingering clean bitter, surprisingly good.

Keg @ brewdog shoreditch. A very respectable session ipa, which, irrespective of its low abv has all the hoppiness and fruitiness you could ask for. Unfortunately, there’s a hint of skunkiness here which drags the beer down in the aftertaste. Still decent though.

33 cl bottle. BBE 08.01.2015.
Pours clear golden color with a small head. Nice hoppy aroma, citric fruits, grass and pine. Citric fruits, grapefruits and gooseberries on the flavor, hops and some wooden notes. Harsh bitter palate, lingering bitter aftertaste. Quite nice and tasty for the low abv.

33 cl bottle @ tiong, BBE 08.01.2015
Aroma is sweet and rather rich with tropical fruits and pineapples. Feels like 7% IPA. Flavour has aggressive hops, grapefruit, gooseberry bush leaves, citrus, biscuits and some orange. Also some gluey tones. Still, rather nice for a 4,4%.

330ml bottle from Mikkeller Webshop

BBE 08/01/15 - Pours dark orange with a smooth white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, caramely malts, grassy and pineapple. Taste is smooth, grassy and fruity with some aged hops and hints of malts. Finish is a bit stuffy and watery with some grassy hoppiness. Okay, but doesn’t feel super fresh.
