COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
IPAs are great but sometimes you just donít want the amount of alcohol that comes with most of the good ones. In this spirit we brewed Semiconductor. an IPA designed to be drunk by the gallon, if you are that thirsty.

Refreshing hoppy brew - assertive bitterness which is great for me - low malt - fruity/herbal edge - great taste for lower abv - would like more complexity - nice one.

[8247-20160512] Tap. Fruity sweet orange juice aroma. Clear, orange body with a long-lasting creamy thick off-white head and thick lacing. Bitter toasted orange skins flavour. Medium body. Good. (8/4/7/4/15) 3.8

2016-05-12. Crisp golden amber body, nice off white head and lace. 3++ Aroma of light fruit, muted green hops. Flavour is moderately bitter, with a slightly dry mineral quality to it. Light fruit in the middle, with grainy malt undertones reminiscent of a second runnings beer. Smooth average to light bodied palate, soft carbonation. 6+/3/6+/3/13-14 On tap at Craft, Hamilton, NZ.

Tap at Freehouse Singapore. Pours clear golden with a minimal white head which is foamy in appearance. Aroma is grassy and slightly citric. Taste is grapefruit bitter, orange sweet, orange bitter, slightly grassy.

martjoobolut (2725) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 15, 2016
Bottle (from edrinks, tallinn). Didnít took notes, but it was golden beer with ok hop profile. The hops were old, but it wasnít too watery. Decent example of this so called "style", but I would need a lot fresher sample to give it more adequate score.

Bottle to goblet Consummation: Pepper, wheat, and loads of bitterness. Adjunct: Well, itís just whatís expected in a session IPA, not much depth, but enough flavour to be drinkable; aroma of grapefruit, grass, plum, and flowers; hazy amber with a think bright white ringed head.

Marduk (5848) - Reval, ESTONIA - JUN 2, 2016
330ml bottle. Clear amber color. Medium size, thick off-white head, stays. Fruity, citrus, sweet, malty in aroma. Pine needles, fruity, sweet malts, sweet, citrus in taste. Sweet malts and citrusy pine in aftertaste. Light sweet body. Medium bitterness. Soft carbonation. Goes down easy, but doesnít quench my thirst (and o girl Iím thirsty).

suurjuust (2736) - ESTONIA - MAY 28, 2016
33cl bottle. Clear orange amber beer, white head. Nose is a bit thin, but grassy, fruity, citric, oranges. Flavor is oranges, peach notes, thin malt and caramel notes, citrus, oranges. Hoppy finish, grapefruity and grassy-earthy notes. Very drinkable or thin as all hell, depending on who you ask. Iím leaning towards "drinkable":

UPDATED: MAY 29, 2016 330ml bottle (Koht, Tallinn)
Pale orange, spongy head, briefish. Ugh, messy APA yeast and hop fingerprint in the aroma, a real plasticky mess. Even worse in the mouth. Very dirty, plasticky, APA yeast fingerprint everywhere. Some nuts and nut papers, makes it taste old, but thereís no BB so I canít judge the age. Palate drinkable, a little watery, pleasant carbonation, but the hops are dirty and dusty, I want to scrape my tongue. And Iím completely parched, I should basically love anything with water in it. All the worst things of APAs and Session IPAs can be found here, dreadful.

Rask0lnikov (566) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 17, 2016
Golden yellow colour. Medium white head. Fruity aroma. Hints of tangerines, orange core, hints of peach. Hints of tangerines at first. Slight sweetness in the middle. Hints of fruits. Slight saltiness. Slightly citrussy finish. Bitterness in aftertaste. Quite well balanced, slightly watery, but quite drinkable session IPA. However, had more refreshing ones which have really juicy taste.

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.
