3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Refreshing hoppy brew - assertive bitterness which is great for me - low malt - fruity/herbal edge - great taste for lower abv - would like more complexity - nice one.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From 330 ml bottle. Pours a mostly clear straw-gold with a thin white head and light carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, pine, peach and lemon. Taste is light at first but then a crisp citrus bite kicks in. Thereís a bitter hop note at the back end. Quite a clean finish with a lightly spicy aftertaste. Does what it says on the box.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pour is hazy saffron with patchy white film. Meh. Aroma is bold and praiseworthy. Peach and light grapefruit, with pine and spicy notes. Lots there, but the melange is not as appealing as it should be. Needs more softer notes and less harsh scents driving it. Taste is sadly insipid. Very, very light palate (not watery thankfully). Flavor appears only in the aftertaste. Some straw, more spicy notes and spiky bitterness. If the intention was to produce a light beer, 8W has succeeded. Unfortunately, flavor and presence have been sacrificed as a result.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Mikkeller online shop; hazy light golden amber pour with a creamy white head, aroma had a punchy pine hop aroma with a hint of malt, unfortunately this taste doesnít live up to the aroma, quite a bit of digestive biscuits, a hint of citrus, grassy, a hint of pine.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Bottle) Slightly hazy amber with nice, but short-lived, white head. Lovely aroma of exotic fruits with hints of pine and biscuit. Nice palate - medium body with good carbonation. The taste is dominated by hops. The finish is quite intensely hoppy bitterness. Thereís a little light maltiness at the start and some peppery spice, but other than that itís all hops. I like hops, but they need some balancing flavours.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml bottle pours a golden color with a finger of white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is light tropical fruits (perhaps mango and passion fruit) with some hints of caramel and cereal grains. Taste is a fruity and malty sweetness with a light pine and grapefruit hop bitterness. Light bodied with decent carbonation. A well done session ale that I could just drink all night long.
