3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Translucent light orange-amber with watery head and large bubbles. Smells great: citrus (pineapple, orange) and floral hop, sweet bready caramel malt, very juicy. A touch of vegetal herbiness. Tastes of crisp bitter hop, ever so slightly spicy malt. Bitter finish that’s very dry. Body is medium with good amount of very smooth slickness. An IIPA that’s very juicy/fruity with a good balance between hop and malt. An old favourite.

mørkt gyldent med hvit skum som holdt lenge. Stikkelsbær og sitrus i lukten. Stikkelsbær følger også i smaken sammen med en frisk bitterhet i ettersmaken. Tørr munnfølelse.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Small to medium yellowish head, over very finely bubbled metallic orange-golden beer. Here it is again!!! second time, sorry, beer around. Among the fruity, citrussy aromas, the unsmistakable smell of asafœtida! What hop is it - or what yeast,....- that carries this scent? Can’t say I think it inviting. Bit catty too. In the taste it remains submerged in extra dry, resiny flavours with cereal, exotic and citrusfruit. Though it is still traceable, it is no longer disturbing. Hint of watercoulourpaint. Bone dry, as the say; lightly spritzy, oily by the resins. All in all a quite good IIPA. But that asafœtida idea...
