[750ml bottle, courtesy of cgarvieuk] Pours a reasonably cloudy orange-amber. Sweet, syrupy aroma, with some papaya-like tropical notes. Big barley wine flavour – lots of sweet, sticky sugars and tacky fruit, but leads to a deceptively dry finish. Good stuff [21062013]

500ml bottle provided by Stefan for our Straight outta Blenheim+ session. Unclear, amber-gold body. Tiny bubbly white head. Fragile lacing. Malt-fruity nose, including sweet orange and apricot. Taste of grapefruit, pumpkin, and apricot added by caramel snapshots. Semi-dry, fruit hoppy ending with a nice bitterness to it. Full bodied. Enjoying stuff (Tromsø 30.07.2013)

Bottle from Erzbierschof, batch 117, bb 2/2014
Cloudy amber color, medium sized creamy head. The aroma is earthy, some manure, mildly pungent, light cream. Good mouthfeel, round and smooth; toffee flavor, quite sweet, with some crystal malt; strong character of oranges, some cedar, tangerine, very light frankincense; strong bitterness, a bit earthy and dirty. Maybe not as fresh as it should be.

Keg at brewdog camden. Pours a slightly hazy amber colour with thin white head. A really striking aroma - chlorine, caramel, grass, general tropical fruit, a funky earthiness too. Its got some grapefruit, a nice funky earthiness, slight toffee sweetness. A bit of pine with a citrusy bitter choc finish. It's boozy, bit pretty well balanced. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tasted in glass, out of the bottle. Fantastic aroma - nothing but hop. On the taste, I was struck that this is like an alcoholic/beer version of Lemon & Paeroa. Lots of citrus taste, with a nice sweetness to balance it. Bottle says there is an intense bitterness, but I actually find this well balanced - unlike, for instance Hop Czar which to me goes over the top. Would definitely have again.
