Clear orange pour from 22oz. Pretty bitter beer but a good floral taste. Tangerine and grapefruit. Somewhat sweet and hoppy. Big IIPA. And good stuff

(on tap @ Mikkeller Bar) Pours a cloudy amber with little, off-white head. Good retention and lace. Aroma is promising dominated as it is by fresh hops with fruity notes, hints of sodapop and perhaps a tint of confectionary rocket fuel that seems to unfold and gain prominence over the fruity notes as the beer opens up. Lively carbonation, medium to full body, oily mouthfeel and quite a bitter finish. This DIPa for me falls into the category that is just a bit over the top packed as it is with hops, sweetness and alcohol but it certainly falls within the bounds of something that is competently crafted according to style. I love the Hopwired but find this one a tad too boozy, bitter and sweet but that's just me being timid.

Slightly cloudy with a red/amber colour. Big aroma, fruity hops and some resinous hops, has a cat food IPA character as well. nutty and has hints of caramel. This is a big but balanced brew with a sweeter profile and aggressive hops. Good beer.

Massive aroma of dry fruity pine hops, taste is a blast of grapefruit and Seville orange slightly resinous with a bit of caramel. Overall, for the style this is one of the best. Excellent.

500ml bottle. Pours cloudy deep orange with average head. Quite malty with a deep resinous hop quality on the nose. Very interesting palate. Pleasant bitterness. Lots of dark citrus notes. Fairly sweet.

Bottled. Pours clear amber with a small white head, that leaves a fair lacing. Aroma of citrus, peach, caramel and some pine notes. Sweet flavor that ends up more dy and pleasant bitter. Medium bodied, oily text. and soft carb. A lovely and enjoyable DIPA indeed.

500ml bottle into tulip glass at home. Translucent deep amber body with a medium just off white head that laces nicely. Nose is very hoppy (pine, citrus with grapefruit and orange notes dominating) on top of a sweet caramel malt backbone and a touch of vanilla. Flavours are similar with a substantial resinous dry hop bitterness that lingers. Palate is bittersweet and fruity with a medium-full body and lively mouthfeel. A lovely DIPA to be savoured.

Keg at Mikkeller. Hazy orange. Loads of pine and grapefruit in the aroma, some pot pourri and grassiness too. Taste gives grass, spruce, pine needles and grapefruit, followed by pithy grapefruit and light caramel. Some sweet malts make it a bit sticky. Heavy pine/spruce bitterness. Residual herbaceous notes and grapefruit. Pretty damn good.
