Keg at Craft Clerkenwell. Amber colour with small off-white head. Aroma is classic double ipa, caramel, strong hops, touch of citrus and grapefruit but full on malt. Some tropical fruit. Taste is good. Initial booziness, then fruit. Tropical fruit, pineapple, peachy. Pretty nice. Some lemon too. Nice spicy maltiness. Pretty good.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Slightly darker than amber colour and a medium head. Smells like putting your head in a bucket of tropical hops with a hint of malt. Tastes like a spoonful of said hops in each mouthful, tasty malt and a fairly bitter finish.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 19/20
From a 500ml bottle on 24/12/ 2012 (shared by Butz with thanks). Pours a very dark golden with a small to medium head. Has a fabulous, very strong piney hop aroma, with some floral and caramel notes. Flavour wise, you get sweet biscuit and caramel malt, orange, lime, citrus peel, and a massive, lingering resiny bitterness. Exhibits a wonderful sweet bitter balance and great complexity while being exceptionally easy to drink for a beer approaching 9%. A sensational DIPA. Another cracker from 8 Wired.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
500ml bottle in a shaker. Pours amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma strong of pine and citrus hops plus a good amount of caramel malts. Flavor about the same, really hoppy. Average to smooth texture. A good beer, but could be thicker and better balanced.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours deep amber tending towards bronze with tan coloured head. Thin lacing as it falls away to leave all bar the thinnest film. Aromas are brilliant. Tropical fruits & perfumy floral hops ably support by a deep sweet malt background. Flavours are dominated by resiny hops and some alcohol. Medium mouthfeel. Great beer.
