Fantasticly hoppy nice whie big is not overpowering. A little bit of sweetness on the palate helpd balance the bitterness of the hops. Has a long dry bitter finish. A crowd pleaser for the hopheads.

At wheatsheaf on tap
Lighter orange amber color. Small carbonation bubbles showing. Half finger of bright white head.
Caramel coated pineapple, mango and tropical fruits. Still has a bit of dankness in the nose, still quite fruity.
Stewed tropical fruit taste with a good amount of pine.
Some pine resin and dank pineapple, tangerine, and big pine. A bit too floral in the mouth but good either way.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours amber with a large, fading head.
Nose shows a mix of piny and tropical fruit-like hops, with soft passion fruit and pineapple. Soft clean malt underneath.
Very malty flavours, but with a fair whack of pine and grapefruit to balance things out. Finishes with an assertive bitterness.
Could use more carbonation.

On tap at Pomeroys. Aroma like fresh hops cut and rubbed over the face, taste of huge hops, which is a wicked bitter-slap to the senses. Very bitter, but not astringent by any means. Not the ideal drink for a lunchtime tipple--the first mouthful woke me out of my Friday bored-at-work feeling, and the final mouthful almost put me into a deep slumber for the rest of the afternoon. Will definitely have again at a more convenient time.

4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Tasted on tap at Pommeroyís with TimE. A huge passionfruit, tropical fruit and lemon citrus nose that leapt out of the glass. I swear I could smell the hops a good couple of metres away. A gorgous looking beer too. Coppery-gold with a firm white head that sank away in time. The first taste is a good mouthful of fruitiness before descending into a riot of mouthfilling bitterness. Mercifully this was the last beer of the evening because as Iíd already had a few this beer at 8.88% tipped me over the edge into a warm, cuddly oblivion. This is a beer for the ages.
