UPDATED: SEP 18, 2015 Tropical fruit aroma in a golden amber pour. Taste is surprisingly laid back for the strength and style with a surprisingly balanced flavour (rather than the in-your-face hop forward/bitter balance expected). An excellent example of the Antipodean take on the style (albeit not the benchmark).

Dark orange colour, small off white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, cream, toffee. Taste is medium bitter, light sweet. Very flavoursome. Medium body, creamy texture, soft to average carbonation.

Keg at BrewDog Glasgow. One of the best beers I have every had. Simply amazing. Golden red body, tropical hop aroma, sharp wet hop fruity taste. This sweet beer with inviting hops is absolutely amazing!

500ml bottle from Brewdog online store. Orangey amber colour, off-white foam head leaving some lacing and aroma of caramel, orangey citrus hop & pine. Taste is sweetish malt caramel with fruity tangerine, orange, pine, hoppy resiny earthy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry lingering bitter finish. Very drinkable DIPA.

Bottle, Brewdog.com. Poured a hazy amber colour with with a small white head. Nose was tropical fruits, hops aplenty, caramel and citrus. Flavour delivered the goods with nice fruits and a gratifying hop kick. Steady rolling bitterness. Excellent DIPA that was well worth flying half way round the globe.

Pours a cloudy orangey - copper with a small long lasting white head and decent lace. Aroma is nice pungent pine, resin, citrus and some other light tropical fruits. Flavour is strong pine, citrus, resin, spicy, some alcohol, fairly dry finish and med-high perceived bitterness though I have a feeling the actual IBUs are pretty high.

Pours a hazy orangish copper with a frothy off white head that leaves sticky lace. Aroma of sweet pale malts, caramel, citrus, biscuit and pine. Taste is biscuit, sweet caramel, pale malts, pine, light tropical fruits and a nice slick oily mouthfeel. Excellent double ipa with a nice dry finish and a crisp and clean bitterness that is very pleasant. Overall this beer is very well balanced and easy to drink for a double ipa.

50 cl bottle @ home. Pours clear amber with a white head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma and flavour are peach, citrus, caramel, and pine – with a dry finish.

Very hoppy, reminded me of nogne two captains, one of my favourite DIPAs :) soft on the palate, bitter after taste, malts, pine, hints of caramel. Fantastic
