Not terrible by any means, but was definitely hoping for more from such a highly rated DIPA. Perhaps it had sat on the shelf a little too long because the hops weren’t the freshest in the world. More bready malt than I would like, this was more of a supped up English IPA than a true hop bomb.

Tap. Pours clear amber, thin head with reasonable lacing. Hops, hops and more hops. High ABV and bitterness keep it in check.

Pours amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma strong of pine and citrus hops plus a good amount of caramel malts. Flavor about the same, really hoppy.

Another excellent beer from the fine folks at 8 Wired. Full bodied and finely balanced - the only downside is that it is too strong to be consumed in the quantities one would like!

Dark orange colour, small off white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, cream, toffee. Taste is medium bitter, light sweet. Very flavoursome. Medium body, creamy texture, soft to average carbonation.

Keg at BrewDog Glasgow. One of the best beers I have every had. Simply amazing. Golden red body, tropical hop aroma, sharp wet hop fruity taste. This sweet beer with inviting hops is absolutely amazing!

500ml bottle from Brewdog online store. Orangey amber colour, off-white foam head leaving some lacing and aroma of caramel, orangey citrus hop & pine. Taste is sweetish malt caramel with fruity tangerine, orange, pine, hoppy resiny earthy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry lingering bitter finish. Very drinkable DIPA.

Bottle, Brewdog.com. Poured a hazy amber colour with with a small white head. Nose was tropical fruits, hops aplenty, caramel and citrus. Flavour delivered the goods with nice fruits and a gratifying hop kick. Steady rolling bitterness. Excellent DIPA that was well worth flying half way round the globe.

Pours a cloudy orangey - copper with a small long lasting white head and decent lace. Aroma is nice pungent pine, resin, citrus and some other light tropical fruits. Flavour is strong pine, citrus, resin, spicy, some alcohol, fairly dry finish and med-high perceived bitterness though I have a feeling the actual IBUs are pretty high.
