Pours a hazy orange with minimal head diminishing rapidly to a thin skim, minimal spotty lacing. Nose is tropical fruit, low piney and floral hops, caramel malt. Taste leads with sweet caramel malt, giving way to a lingering hoppy bitterness. Medium to heavy body, slick, with low sustained carbonation. This seems to be my third stale IPA of the evening. No buttered popcorn, but the hops in the nose were quite muted. The taste is pleasantly bitter, though. Not convinced it was all that fresh, but not bad.

Mondial 2014, mon coup de cśur du festival, une double IPA franche, houblon tranchant et hyper present, un peu de caramel, délicieux (et tres amer)

Hop galore. Both aroma and taste is one of well balanced ingridience. Love the pines and citrus which tignled my nose. Good strength ABV and the thirst quenching pilsner malts. A real treat from way down under. Bottle, Grünerlřkka Brygghus.

Tap at the Mikkeller Bar, Bangkok. Poured a hazy medium to light amber with a super thin whispy head and lots of broken lace. The aroma is woody resin hop. The flavour is strong bitter with a big alcoholic resin spice hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. The hop bucket really fell into this brew. Well controlled alcohol and nice and smooth. Lots of flavour and nothing dominates.

500ml Bottle at home from drinkstore. Grass, pine, alcohol aroma. Sweet malt flavour medicinal like. Bitter finish and dry aftertaste. Alcohol not managed well and comes through strong. Not sure this travelled well.

Nose is grass, menthol, asparagus, sour cream whiff, feel is quite broad, taste is cooked vegetables, leaves, damp clothes, wet lawn, sweet alcohol note, balanced hops-bite finish

500 ml bottle, as 8 Wired Super Conductor Double IPA, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 8.8%. Crystal clear golden colour, apparently filtered. Moderate white head. Intense aroma of fruity NZ and US hops, a remarkable blend of lychee and other tropical fruits, citrus and white grapes. Also hints of spruce and caramel. The flavour is very hoppy, fruity, resinous and bitter, but also quite sweet. Far from "perfectly balanced", but still damned good and tasty.

On tap at Brewski. Rating from early 2014. Packed with hops, hops and more hops. A hop assault on all of the senses. A beer to be treated with respect.

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy, orangey amber. Film of white head. Thick, banana toffee sweetness. Greasy, hoppy, chewy, herbal and a bit mucky. Love DIPA beers like this. Obviously this is nothing like it could be fresh, but still liked this a lot. Marked it down due to the topdollarishness.

Fantastic aroma! Lemon and grapefruit. The taste is similar. Dry and bitter finish. Maybe just a little bit more carbonation.
