very much a significant amount of bitter hops on the palate. Not so much that you suck air in through tangy lips, but that’s a noise that’s making itself heard. (it does say on the label.....) That pine aroma seems to carry through to the taste, which is very long as a taste. Solid

Bottle. Very slightly hazy orange amber beer, small white head. Nose is citric, fruity, intensely so, some spruce and resin, malt, caramel. Flavor is hoppy, piney, some grapefruit and oranges. Pine bitterness in the finish with more oranges, alcohol warmth, caramel, resin. Dangerously drinkable for the ABV.

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

Fresh NZ hops in the aroma - oily and fruity notes. Almost clear golden color. Small white head, perfect lacing. Nice thick body, not exactly full but close to that. It’s a bit to sweet in taste. There is a big lack of bitterness which would counter the sweetness. It’s definitely not a session beer, more like setting and sipping one. Very good one.

500 mL bottle. Clear light amber pour, couple fingers of semi creamy head. Big hop aroma (and taste), very tropical, grassy. Excellent, wish I had had a west coast brew to compare it to.

On tap. Standard IIPA with stock aroma and taste and booze you’d expect from this style. Bit of a shame its so average

I just love it. The smell of citrus fruits and flowers. Rich ambler color and its subtle caramel aroma is also very attractive. Malty and hoppy.

Citrus, floral, malty scent. Standard golden color. Nice blending of malty sweetness and hoppy bitterness.

8.8%ABV. Imperial IPA. Tapped out a rich amber. 16°SRM. Nose has nice rich pine freshness. There is also the aroma of ripe pineapple and sweet citrus, like ripe tangerines or Yuzu. There is also a residual sweet maltiness to the nose. Very inviting. Mouthfeel is soapy. The palate is graham cracker, caramel, burnt sugar and toasty malt sweet. A good base upon which to taste the hops which are pine, grass, light resin and sap. Finish is medium and satisfying. Goes on Favorites List!
