Tap. Pours clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma is loads of peachy and citric notes and has a good sweet malty backbone. Flavor is sweet malty and huge fruity. Notes of peach and passion fruit. Great!!!!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Slightly disappointed with this, a sweet fruit and malty aroma, with quite a biscuity taste, that has a hop finish, but not especially bitter. A good DIPA, but I was expecting better.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Great beer. ínuf said. Assertive hop aroma and flavor. A blend of American dank and New Zealand tropical fruit that melds perfectly. Flavor brings a slight malt balance. Outstanding beer thatís greater than the sum of its parts.

500ml bottle pours a yellow amber color without much head. Tropical and piney hop flavors. Low carbonation.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
500ml bottle from Glug in the Grainger Market Newcastle served cold at home in a Hoegaarden tulip shaped snifter. Slightly hazed golden body with a white head that dissipates to a skim. Demerara sugar and tropical fruit in the aroma. Sweet tropical guava and pineapple flavour, with a hint of butterscotch in the background.. Medium bodied, slick mouth feel. The intensely bitter finish sets this one apart. As bitter as any beer Iíve ever had. Pungently puckering.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
500ml bottle. Finally got my hand on this one, probably my most wanted Kiwi beer - and it lives up to its reputation. Pours amber with a medium head. Intense grassy nose. Well crafted taste of citric fruity bitter hops, balanced with a strong sweet malty backbone that provides a long finish, leaving you asking for more. A prototype for great DIPAs.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at home. The colour is clear, pale orange colour with an off-white head. Lots of hops in the aroma with pine, spices, citrus, grassy hops and grapefruit. The flavour is more dry with grapefruit, pine and grassy hops in the end. Has a slick mouth feel, and a balanced bitterness. A nice and complex DIPA.

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
A perfect DIPA - so fresh, so massively hoppy - so vibrant - but low malt impact makes this so quaffable and refreshing - outstanding.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
From BrewDog, Leeds. Aroma of citrus fruit, lively in the glass with bubbles constantly fighting to get to the top. No sign of sediment but seemed like a bottle conditioned beer. The taste is sublime, malt, grapefruit, elderflower. A well crafted, powerful brew.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle from h.j. vine. cloudy light brown, small offwhite to light brown head. aroma of hops, caramel, malts, faint sort of fruity sourishness which i think might be some kind of 8wired hallmark (hops? yeast?), recognized it in several of their brews. Flavor is malts, bitter hops, fruity caramelly notes, pine hops, grapefruit hops. Very hoppy brew, but the malts manage to balance, and the hops are with lots of flavors outside plain bitterness, so quite interesting.
