4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Amazing colour, a dark red amber with a small bubbly off white head that lasts and lasts. Smells of typical NZ hops with a great malt backbone. Has a hint of passionfruit in the aroma as well. Some sweet fruits front up, passionfruit, toffee. Has an amazing malt backbone throughout, which accommodates the hop profile perfectly. Great bitterness to finish off the beer and make it last and last in your mouth. Overall a phenomenal brew

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a cherry brown colour, a bit cloudy. Very little head, disappears immediately. In the aroma I get sweet malt, berries and bubblegum. In the flavour there seems a slight toasty charachter, caramel, boysenberries too??, lots of hop bitterness, I get the metal flavour that others have mentioned. Bitterness is pronounced and lingers, something mildly unpleasant about it.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Brownish beer with a strong frothy off white’ish brown head. The aroma is very lightly hopped, and the flavour is very well hopped with a hefty bitter and dry finish. Overall not a too bad well hopped beer
