COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tall Poppy - India Red Ale This is an ale that is not afraid of standing tall among other great beers. The intense, sharp and fruity hoppiness is backed by its complex, caramel-like malty structure. Big, yet refreshing. Bold but balanced. This beer has been designed to have it all, to be the greatest common denominator.

Beautiful colour. Caramel, plum on the nose. Bitterness is well balanced with the malt. A bit too sweet for me. Good body. Not too boozy

Bottle from Asahiya. Fruity nose, with caramel, and thick hop soup, and grass. Clear reddish/copper color, thin beige head. Caramel, with woddy and herbal notes, bread, and small spiced cookies. Medium body. Very nice, but a bit unfocused. Near barleywine-level caramel. Tasty.

En veldig god American Strong Ale fra "down under" Mye humle, men samtidig balansert maltpreg. Dufter av grapefrukt, mango og karamell. Smaker grapefrukt, søt men samtidig bitter avsluttning. Lang ettersmak. En god favoritt!

Crystal clear, deep ruby red body with a quite large, tan head with a long life-time, good lacing. Hoppy, malty, sweet and strong aroma of overripe tropical fruits including grapefruit and mango, orange marmalade, caramel and sweet red berries in the background. Very strong flavour of overripe tropical fruits, lots of grapefruit, caramel, both red and dark berries further behind and pine in the long finish. Moderate to light sweet taste and a quite heavy bitter finish. Smooth, crisp and refreshing on the palate, mid-bodied, moderate carbonation and a pronounced dryness in the finish. A lovely beer, perfect if you crave a DIPA but would like everything tuned down a couple of notches.
