It delivers a refreshing crisp smack around the gills. It pours a pale golden colour and the malty sweetness is well balanced by the Chinook and Centennial hops. Goes well with fish, chicken or anything off the barbeque

Bottle @ home. Aroma is fruity and piney hops with some notes of resin and a touch of malt. Flavour is a zesty yet less strong then expected flavour of hops, tea and some malt. Nice and refreshing.

330ml bottle from Newry Supervalu, drank in Crossmaglen. BB Nov 2015. Hazy orange, sparkling, small foamy white head, full lacing. Aroma is tangerine, musty metallics. Bottle. Pale amber with a white head. Aroma of oranges, peach and a little pine. Taste is much more grapefruity, with hay, peach and oranges. Quite dry at the end with firm bitterness. The hops don’t shine quite as much as they ought in the aroma, but it’s pretty good.

Pours hazy with a golden-brass color and a soft head that laces and dissipates quickly. Hop aroma is citrus with slight sweet malt notes. Has a dry bitter finish, and the alcohol is fairly masked.

Bottle Beerdock Crewe. Caramel and biscuity malt dominate this red ale. Hops are subtle, there’s a little citrus and bitterness late on. There’s an unusual adhesive like aroma at times. Maybe not quite the finished article.

Bottle, shared with my wife. Medium hold, lasting, lacy white head. Intriguing hop profile, floral and piney with some fruity sweetness. Only modest bitterness, but the hops here are delicate and interesting. I liked this more than I thought I would.

Bottle at the Long Dock, Carrigahalt, 05/12/14. Golden amber with a decent beige covering. Nose is citric sherbets, bitter orange, hoppy waftings, straw, light pine. Taste comprises grapefruit, straw, pine needle, orange pith, chalky minerals, apricot. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid hoppy number, surprised to see such a low score for this one, freshness issues?

A refreshing and well brewed Pale Ale, that is quite herbal and has a good body and aftertaste. It is a golden colour and smells and tastes malty, sweet and with a hoppy note. A good pale ale from Ireland.
