Bottle, thanks Stephanos! Orange amber pour, thick bubbly head eventually fades with good lacing. Soft pithy orange and lemon on the nose. Somewhat juicy front, hint of caramel sweetness, lemony bitterness, hint of bready malt. Not bad at all.

Bottle. Appearance: Hazy orange, thick, proud snow white head. Aroma: Grassy hops, malty, grain, a little citrus, a little pear. Flavour: Bitter at first, quite a decent amount of hoppiness, good malty sweetness, pears again, a little light on the mouth feel but has a long enjoyable bitter finish.

Draught- Are we sure we’re all drinking the same beer? Moderately bitter aroma of Orange, caramel and crystal malt. Fruity flavour with some earthy hoppiness, quite sweet. Firm palate. Very nice and a great session beer. I can only assume that the poorer reviews are due inconsistency issues from the new brewery, because I’ve had this s number of times on draught and have found it nothing but lovely.

UPDATED: JAN 31, 2013 On tap at Bowes of Fleet Street, Dublin. Light and slightly hazy orange with decent white head. Grapefruit, orange, light zesty Citrus notes & slightly sweet malt are on the nose; taste is well balanced with a nice citrus zing, light pine and some light orange-y flavours; touch of caramel and biscuit to balance it out. Fairly refreshing pine/citric bitterness in the finish; a very decent APA, easy drinking - had a few dodgy bottles but it has been reliable on tap over recent months.

Draught at Bierhaus. Pours a nice hazy golden colour with a medium white froth that lasts. Nose of citrus, freshly cut grass with a floral hint - very appetizing. Taste is a lightly balanced malty sweetness to begin with followed by a a big hoppy bitter kick. Nice lively carbonation yet maintains a smooth mouthfeel. A very good Irish attempt at an APA.
