COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like an Irishman on holiday in the Canaries, this beer has a red tint but with a chilled out mellow feel. A traditional Irish style with a twist. It has subtle caramel notes balanced with a pleasant fragrant aroma from New Zealand and Australian hops. Goes really well with roast beef, lamb or a traditional Irish stew, but beware: keep out of direct sunlight.

(Eight Degrees Sunburnt Irish Red) Tap 250 ml at Oproer the day after the tap takeover. Deep red to light amber colour on the body, crystal clear, with a big and thick off-white head with good retention. Aroma has mostly caramel, leaves, faint toffee. Taste also of caramel and toffee, red fruits, marmalade. Medium thin body with soft carbonation. Okay, nothing special.

Zlotta (2161) - Hagen, GERMANY - JUL 15, 2016
Sampled from tap at ’Uiltje Bar’. Clear, dark reddish amber with a beige head. Sweetish, malty and fruity aroma of red fruits, caramel and some nuts. Rather sweet, very malty and moderately fruity taste of caramel, candied red fruits and some nuts, followed by a short, moderately bitter, quite dry finish. Medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice for the style, well-balanced and not too sweet.
