Half a pint on tap at O’Neills in Dublin. Clear amber with a beige, slightly creamy head. Aroma of malt, caramel and hops with hints of fruits and some spicy and roasty notes. Medium body with light to medium carbonation. Lightly sweet and malty with a slightly bitter finish and aftertaste. Easy to drink and quite pleasant. Nice and refreshing Irish Red. (2011-06-11)

UPDATED: JUL 21, 2013 Bottled 0,33L. Reddish fraught color, good bubbly aspect, discreet foamy head of good resistance. Resin and woody nose with flavour of malt, cask and ashed cortex. Pleasant mouth, good balanced alcohol and malty final. Equilibrated bitter content.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a hazy, medium tawny, slightly dull, with an off-white head.
Hoppy, roasted, sour aromas, caramel, nuts, light chocolate.
Off-dry, medium bodied, medium bitterness, balanced CO2.
The taste is quite robust and grainy, roasted malts, chocolate, hops, caramel, and a light sour note. Like a decent homebrew.

Not a bad Irish red ale, though it’s not a very exciting style. Red orange body. Malty flavour with a touch of hops. Orange lemon notes.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a slightly hazy red-orange color with a good 1-inch, creamy, ivory head. Aroma has a mild citrus nose, light noble hops kick and a solid dose of caramel and lightly toasted malt. Flavor starts off with a touch of orange citrus which transitions to a light caramel and light bready flavor and finishes with some soft bitterness. Body is modest with low carbonation and a good deal of lacing left on the glass. Overall an enjoyable brew with much softer malt, more hoppy approach to the Irish ale style.

Flaska. Bärnstensfärgad mot rött, smutsvitt skum. Förhållandevis svaga dofter, av karamell och oklar fruktighet. Smaken är bättre: kiwi, lime, smultron och karamell. Trevligt matöl.
