Taste like a cold cup of hot chocolate. Creamy body, sweet malty and bitter aftertaste. Long finish. Overall wet flavorful and full of chocolate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Sooo much chocolate. Almost tastes like an alcoholic chocolate milkshake. There’s a hint of coffee. Totally delicious.

On tap at Bluebonnet. Dark pour with a tan head. Aroma is coffee, dark grains, and lots of chocolate. Taste is thick, nice chocolate, a little hint of coffee, and some bitterness. Nice finish.

Black body with lasting tan head. Big deep roast malt, espresso coffee, dry chocolate aromas. Smooth full mouthfeel. Sugared up black coffee, dark roast malt, earthy dirt, dark fruit flavors----lightly sweet finish___good.

very nice...draft while in McKinney. nice dark pour with minimal head. aroma was of roast - very nice taste, slight - lactose and slight is a positive, but plenty of roast and some chocolate - more dark than chocolate milk;; first from this brewer; good stuff.

Bottle - roasted, chocolaty, malty, warm, milky. Reminds me of coco puffs. Dark and wonderful aroma and color. Amazing local beer.

Pours Dark with a nice khaki head. Chocolate flavor and finishes with a nice bitterness from the coco nibs. The alcohol is well hidden. I can drink this beer year round

This has improved my impression of the brewery. It had a nice roasted malt and chocolate aroma. It appeared dark and thick with a tan head. The palate was smooth and creamy. It had good flavors of chocolate malt and roasted malt that evened out nicely from the lactose and hops added. Much improved.

Rich, creamy and chocolaty like, uh, chocolate milk. More like a chocolate milkshake, really with lots of lactose masking the alcohol. Great dessert.
