1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 DuffMan (5196) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, - DEC 5, 2009Bottle. Pours a hazy dirty honey gold with a huge lively head that threatens to escape over the edge with even the most patient of pours. A bottle-conditioned lager? Bad start. Sweet grainy aroma with distinctly yeasty undertones. Sweet fizzy palate with an odd plastic band-aid character that grows with each sip. To quote Charles Barkley: "This was turrble, just turrble."

Good local lager, a much better alternative to the local incumbent Almaza. However not the best from this brewery: I found the Lebanese Brew much better.

33cl bottle. Small white head atop crystal clear straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, corn, grass. Taste is moderately sweet, grass, some corn. Light body.

A very unusual aroma contains marzipan, dirty socks and sand. In the mouth there’s a very soft malt flavour with pleasant, mild hops. Not bad for a lager, the main complaint being the somewhat watery palate.

Decent Lager all things considered. According to the website, made with German Malt and Hops. Pours out a deep gold with two to three fingers of white head. Straightforward, crisp lager aromas. Clean on the mouth and very well balanced. Certainly way ahead of most of the other lagers out there.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 mkel07 (2340) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - APR 6, 2013
330ml bottle from Archive Beer Boutique. Very clear in the glass, amber colour with a skinny white head. Straw and grain in the aroma. Clean crisp and refreshing in the glass.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 GoufCustom (223) - HONG KONG - MAR 30, 2013
330 ml bottle bought at Gorgeous Wine & Cigar in Yuen Long; Light golden yellow colour; Very thin head and white foam which fades in 15 seconds; Minimal lacing and notable carbonation; Pungent smell of malt, grain, corn and light grass; Very low sweet taste of malt, grains, bread, notes of citrus and very slight grass. Mid to light body, thin but crisp palate; Hoppiness is most evident and assertive than most macros but still on a pretty low level. Don’t think it’s Cascade as there’s no pine and citrus taste is whimpy at best. Very mild bitterness and not much of a finish Pretty dry after taste, very easy to mouth.
Comments: an unexpected geography tick. This one is a pretty well make lager: no obvious faults, decently attenuated, low adjuncts and crisp to mouth. If it has a more assertive hops character I will like it even more. Worth having it again.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 obguthr (3225) - Poquoson, Virginia, USA - FEB 26, 2013
Corn and, what is becoming clear to me is the house characteristic of this brewery, sawdust aroma. Crystal clear amber, headless. Metallic, corn and malt flavor. Like their wit, not true to style.

4oz pour from bottle. Poured a really pale golden color, with a tiny white head. Aroma was some light, pale malts. Flavor was, well, pretty much like every other pale lager - no cascade note to speak of here for me, but I suppose it was clean and drinkable.
2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Travlr (7989) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - FEB 6, 2013
Bottle. Clear pale golden yellow color, small white head. Aroma of dusty straw. Taste is dilute plain lager.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 mansquito (2506) - Nueva York, New York, USA - FEB 3, 2013
Associated Supermarket, Bushwick sixer ($15): Pours a golden color with a white head. Aroma is bread, grain, and a bit of hops. Taste is bready, slightly hoppy. Tastes like a Dortmunder. Better than your average lager and definitely better than the terrible 961 Red Ale.
