Thin bodied, metallic flavors but nice cocoa and peat flavors, it isn’t too bad.

Bottle from Binny’s. Deep cola pour with no head. Mild sweetness and earthy malt aroma. Taste is not good - tastes like it has soured a bit, and the palate is quite thin. Undercarbonated. Bland, dull, and likely flawed.

Hansen (6813) - Assentoft, DENMARK - MAY 5, 2014
Dark brown and clear. Has an off-white head, medium duration. Heavy spicy aroma, thyme? Lightly roasted too. It makes it a bit unharmonic. Flavor is more spicy, herbs and laqurice. Creamy, watery texture.

[Bottle (11.2oz)] Pours a very dark amber-brown with a small diminishing frothy beige head. Somewhat nice aroma of dark chocolate, dark fruit and dark malt -- simple but pleasant. Watery flavour is also chocolaty along with roasted malt, light hops and a dry, short bitter finish. Light to average bodied. Too thin, a good but not great Porter.

Bottle. Pours dark and opaque, but awful thin, no head. Little to no aroma, and this drinks with a vapid body, just a bit of a chocolate flavor. Far too thin. Too bad ... (#5290, 10/13/2013)

12oz bottle pours a watery, translucent mahogany brown with a quickly fading ring of tan head. Looks like flat Coke. Nose is reasonably nice, licorice, roasted grains, coffee grounds, brown sugar. Flavor is OK, mild brown sugar, licorice cola, some milk chocolate toast. Flavors are decent, but the flavor and finish are very watery.

4oz pour from bottle at Churchkey. Poured a dark color. Aroma was some roasted and toasted malts. Flavor was pretty rich, enjoyable roasted malts. Enjoyed this one.

11.2oz bottle. Brown-caramel body. Thin beige head. Medium bodied, smooth and easy on the palate. Kind of like a schwarzbier. Nice cocoa schwarz.
