Smooth, round and full bodied it has an intensely fruity and aromatic flavour. The use of Amarillo hops adds a spicy note to the beer and gives it a slighty sweet and creamy finish.

Bottle@sbwf14. Copper amber. Murky malty, old damp leaves nose. Some earl gray there, caramels. Soft, almost velvety mouthfeel with lots of caramels. Sort of a kellerbeer-y one. Not that refreshing, but brings a country tick, if nothing else.

bottle. red amber with one finger head. nice appearance. however, the taste reminds me that there’s a thin line between rotting and fermentation, and this one comes out on the wrong side.

Pours clear amber color with a brief head that leaves no lace. The aroma is not strong but packs in some complexity; malt, apple-butter, spice, cloves. The mouthfeel is crisp and thin, and all the flavor is on the back-end. A little cereal malt, some citrus, and grassy hops. Not bad.

BB 16/10/14. Poured a crystal clear deep reddish amber colour with 5mm of off-white foamy head that retained OK and laced OK. Carbonation high with medium sized bubbles. Aroma of malt, a trace of earthy yeast but no hops evident; malt increases as warms. Taste mildly malty, slightly sweet, a trace metallic but no hops evident; a bit bland. Light body. Malty with a slightly sweet finish. Ordinary.
