Papsoe (11030), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 18, 2008 (Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of jbrus. Clear yellow with a dense, creamy head with good retention and leaving a neat lacework. Aroma of brewing cereal. Medium body, brewing cereal and cardboard with a vague underlying tartness. Ends sweet with no bitterness. Rather poor. 311008
Grovlam (3319), Copenhagen, Denmark Oct 31, 2008 Bottle. [Tasting session @ Papsoe, 31-10-2008] Average bubbly white head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Clear yellow color. Aroma of hay, straw, mild grass and some strange fruity notes. Over the palate came sweet corn, sugar. Light bodied with a soft carbonation. Light to moderated sweet flavor. Sugary sweet corn like finish. madsberg (4376), Bangalore, India Oct 12, 2008 Bottled. Light golden coloured. Clear. Dense small white head. Sweet and fruity aroma, with a touch of spices and orangepeel. Flavour is light citric and has a touch of corn and fruits. Is quite week and thin bodied. Light dry. Is light fruity and sweet in the end. Quite nice without being a world class beer. Pinball (812), Allerĝd, Denmark Sep 28, 2008 aroma:vanilla, sweet, slight sour. slight cereral.
yellow with rather large white head, which disappears quickly.
pleasant flavor lending to the sweet end, some of the flavors (slight cereral) reminds me of a non-alc beer, because of it’s lightness , but it has a lot of flavor. probably the best macro spanish below 6% i’ve had. (and i am #18 rater of spanish beer atm.) MesandSim (4623), Highgate, Greater London, England Sep 22, 2008 A Mes rate: bottle from Glaciar just off La Ramblas in Barca. Very heavy vegetation and cardboard in the aroma masks the reasonably pleasant sweet fruity notes that are underneath. Attractive rich gold colour with a lasting medium sized white head. Full on cardboard. no, paper mâché and corn flavour. Strong mineral notes too. Pretty awful. The only thing saving it is some decent sweet malty notes in the finish.
