<b>Bottle</b> - <i>shared with blankboy, GregClow, jerc at tupalev’s domicile - provided by jerc</i>. Poured a clear, slightly amber gold with a large frothy head and fair lacing. Aroma was damp grain, sour corn mash, cardboard and a bit of sweet banana for weirdness. Not much flavour at all - some weak-donkey malt, wet grains, with dead funereal flowers providing the hops, such as they were. Weak and flat mouthfeel, no aftertaste. Pretty much a big ol’ glass of nothing. 9/20 because I can’t think of anything nasty about it.

Jun 15, 2008 Goût très raisonnable et à la fois abordable. Épuré, mais à la fois aussi relevé.
Un col généreux qui ne dure pas cependant. Le col ressemble effectivement à de l’écume.
Plus riche en goût que la moyenne des blondes, mais qui ne se distingue pas côté originalité du goût.

May 23, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Hogtownharry. Decants from the bottle, a pale and sparkling gold with a one finger of white fizz. The aroma is sugar and grains with shortbread cookies and straw, and hints at yeast. The flavour profile is surprisingly sweet and shows grains, bread crust, fruit and doughy accents. Average carbonation and a decent finish with a bit too much residual sugar. Standard stuff. Thanks Harry!

Apr 29, 2008 20071025 Bottled Feb 07. Pale gold, thin white head. Aroma is bready, white toast, bit of cantaloupe. Flavor has light citrus bite, mineral, salty. Wet graininess. Not particularly good or refreshing which pretty much defeats the purpose of the style.

Mar 16, 2008 341ml bottle from HogtownHarry; Nose of sweet corn with a little skunkiness; clear gold with a medium yellowish head; flavor a little sweet with graininess and a tiny bit of background hops.

Feb 17, 2008 Bright gold, small head. Nose of corn, fresh hay, metal and a hint of iode. Sweetness reminiscent of corn, and a metallic bitterness saved by a hint of saltiness. Body is on the light side. I agree with MDS, it lacks precision. If it weren’t for the saltiness, it would otherwise be plain boring.
