Pours pretty much red. Quite fizzy. Really thin reddish head. Slightly hazy. Aroma is sour cherries and wood - with malts coming a distant third. However, in mouth, malts are much more at the front -- the sourness is certainly there, but biscuit taste coming from the malts are just stronger. Finale is a bit funky, though : we’re really in cake territory, and did I just noticed a hint of... coriander? Really? All in all : Interesting, albeit a little low on the drinkabililty and certainly overpriced. There aren’t MANY Flanders here, so we’ll take it.

Nice tanginess, but it was so malted that it came across like a raspberry. Pinkish body rather than red. Fair for a Flanders. Active carbonation but still good drinkability. Thanks TomTom

Bottle from Tom10101Aroma is fairly fruity with quite a bit of cherries. Faint Brett barnyard funk. Low oak character with a hint of acidity. Pours a slightly cloudy red with a hint of brown and a slightly pink head that slowly but steadily recedes. Faint lacing and fainter legs.Flavor is very tart and acidic, but a clean lactic acidity. Very fruity with lots of cherry character. Light barnyard funk with a touch of Brett fruitiness. Very dry finish but also with a touch of sweetness. A touch of a red raspberry character as well. A bit of a cherry candy flavor in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low acidic astringency with low alcohol warmth.Overall a very nice fruity beer. Lots of acidity, but it could use more Brett character to balance the fruitiness and tartness. Tastes rather similar to a young kriek, but not quite as funky. Very enjoyable.

On tap at À la fut. Pour a beautiful hazy red with a pinkish head that recedes in a ring of foam. Aroma is intense cherry and oak, perceived as red wine. Some moderate vinegar notes. Taste is quite sour, very acetic with some red fruits (cherries, raspberries). Thick bodied and liveely carbonation for a sour. Overall: A well made flanders red that leans more towards sourness than sweetness.

pours hazy red with a nice pinkish head, good retention and lacing. nicely soured cherries, bit of acetic - light to medium acidity, very cheesy - almost cheesy corn chips, to not name them, little feets, oaky - vanilla toasted american oak, quite herbal and grassy, red fruit phenols. hint of sweetness. average to moderate carbonation, light body - oily, nice lightly acidic and fruity-oaky-grassy finish. this stuff is probably one of few non-belgian brews to hit the spot and score quite high. excellent!

Bottle from Tommy, thanks man. Red brown pour, pretty clear, with a medium amount of white crisp head. Wonderful aroma of sour cherries and oak. Taste is medium carbonation, crisp sourness towards the middle, dry finish, with bits of oak and some tartness. Really nice beer.

Bottle. Lovely pink pour, light orange highlights. Aroma is very fresh and sour, with elements of crabapple and stems and wood. Sour palate, but not harsh, sour cherry with vegetal nuances that make me think of rhubarb and an undeniable freshness that makes me think of crunching raw cranberries. The finish is bone dry and a little woody. Delicious.

Pour is hazy bright red with little head and no lacing (or almost). Aroma of cherries, very fruity, oak, funk, little caramel. Taste is cherries, good acidity, little sweetness from the fruits, oak. Low to medium body and low carb. Really nice offering by A la Fut.
