Clear golden with a nice white head and visible carbonation. Aroma is apricot, honey, candi syrup, plum, caramel. Full bodied, slightly sweet and spicy on the palate with a hint of booze on the finish. Taste is honey, apricot, caramel, gooseberries, grape must. Nice

Funky aroma, barrel, caramel, sweet malt as this warms up. A bit of funk in the taste but nothing like the initial aroma. Unique and worth exploring.

Lemony funk to start, caramel up the centre. Barrel starts to shine as it warms up, offering some nice vanilla notes in the finish

Pours clean gold with a small white head and nice easy carbonation. Aroma is fruity, bready malt with small oak finish. Taste is light funky, light fruity with dry palate and residual sweetness. Sweet berry coupled with the bret is nice.

UPDATED: NOV 24, 2013 Ok. Pours light amber without head or lacing. Some coriander, a little lemon citrus and some barrel. Finishes with some citrus sourness. Average carbonation. Strangely, some bretta as well. Bottle.

341 ml bottle from Broue Ha Ha, served cool in a tulip glass.

App.: Hazy bright orange-amber with a thin white head. Aroma: Plenty of wild/funk character, bright citrus, vaguely earthy, also some sweet honey notes, floral notes, peppery/spicy notes, certainly some vinous character, oak too, interesting. Palate: Medium body, relaxed effervescence. Flav.: Sweet, rich, honey-like malts melded with nice wild/funky character, bright lemon/citrus, bitter herbs, a touch spicy, some booze, interesting; off-dry with limited bitterness, a little tang and a long, boozy, funky finish.

Pretty good. Intentionally funky/wild?

Bottle from hoppypocket thanks man! Cloudy golden pour, light white head. Aroma of zesty lemon, grass and yeast. Taste is lemon, lots of white wine from the barrel, a fairly dry finish with some nice bitterness..extremely refreshing, really enjoying this!
