3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Diogène (1000) - Mirabel, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 1, 2012
Bouteille. Corps moyen.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 pushkinwow (863) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 20, 2011
341ml bottle from Broue Ha Ha. Clear golden orange with a thin white head. Grains, sugar, malt, light grainy hops. Below average carbonation, average body, somewhat sweet, bit prickly, becomes more bitter with a bit of skunk on the finish along with light hops and grain. Not my favourite Pils.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 probstblueribbon (1967) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 28, 2011
341 ml bottle from Broue Ha Ha, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. 29JN11.
App.: Clear golden with a nice white froth.
Aroma: Nice biscuit, cereal/grains, green, grassy, slightly peppery hops, a touch of lemon, some bitter greens, a touch of ugly tang, faint fruitiness and hints of esters, a bit soapy.
Palate: Medium body, moderate velvety effervescence with reasonable Pils smoothness.
Flav.: Fruity, grain/cereal/biscuit, grassy, peppery, green hops, a bit floral/perfumed; dry with decent bitterness that lasts and a fairly clean malt finish.
A bit dirty for the style, but decent.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Spab (1194) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 1, 2011
341 ml bottle from La Barik. Pours a clear golden colour with small white head. Aroma is pleasant bready malts and grassy hops. Flavour similarly well-balanced between hops and malts with a bit of appley sweetness to offset the bitterness of the hops. Moderate grassy bitterness in finish. Nice.

Bottle - 341ml. Golden body with average carbonation and a thin, fading white frothy head. Well balanced malty/hoppy aroma with grainy and grassy hints. Its sharp, fresh hoppy taste carries malty and grapefruit notes. Ends with a long, robust bitter/herbal finish. Good Pilsner.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 rosenbergh (3476) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 21, 2011
Draught at Vices & Versa, Montréal, QC.
Clear pale golden colour with small white head.
Sweet malty aroma almost like in strong Baltic Lagers.
Grassy hops and something sweet in flavour. Bitterness. I’m not quite sure if the bitterness is right kind of bitterness for Czech Pilsener.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 cfrancis (1355) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 20, 2011

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 bedainedebiere (493) - Terrebonne, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 9, 2011
Bottle: dated from june 2011, drank it a month. And wow! I’ve never beer in the Czech Republic so I never tasted those famous Bohemian Pilsner so many loved so much. But the crispyness and the overall pleasure I had drinking this awesome summer beer makes me want to go there right away by any possible mean. I don’t think there’s many blond beer bottled in Québec that really rivalizes with this one. Maybe a little sweet but the hoppiness really balances it well. 3,69$ a bottle... This is the only sad part.
