COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Growler at restaurant.
Appearance : Clear yellow with a medium foamy head.
Aroma : Malt with light honey and herbal hops. Citrusy and very fresh. Very malty and fruity.
Taste : Very malty and a bit citrusy. Quite fruity. Finish nicely malty, fruity and crisp.
Overall : Nice surprise here. Unusually fruity but I think it comes from the Fontenac malt. I think it goes well with the crisp herbal hops. I give it a bit more depth. However, I don’t think it’s in agreement with the style. Still is a great beer to session while eating. Nice complexity, great drinkability, refreshing. Pretty sure the growler was quite fresh.

Growler 1,89 liter. Deep golden with a thick white head. Hoppy on the nose. Good hops with a lot of bitterness. Some pale malt, harsh and long aftertaste. Good beer.

UPDATED: JUL 14, 2011 Mondial 2010. 4 oz. Bouteille 341 ml. Couleur jaune paille, or, mousse blanche. Arôme de céréale et de houblon. Fraîche, elle goûte le malt et une légère amertume termine Excellente bière quand on a soif.

Draught. Mondiale 2009 - day 2. Pale gold with an average white head. Aroma of honey and clover - the taste was of grass, fresh, light, but with an increasing harshness. Very light-bodied, oddly astringent, with a weird aftertaste. Meh.

Tap at Vices et Versa. Thick white moussey head over a light golden coloured beer. Aroma is lightly hoppy with an acceptable floral nose. A bit of lemon and light spice. The flavour is quite nicely balanced. Very clean crisp pilsner malt base and a light citrusy and lemony hoppiness. The bitterness comes through pretty nicely actually. With a lingering fresh crackery sweetness.

On tap at Saint Bock. Pours a clear golden yellow with a medium white head. Light aromas of hops and grain. Thin bodied with a little bit of sweetness coming through. Light bitter finish, and a strange flavor that’s almost briny, and reminds me of a Kalamata olive. Not so tasty.

Gout de legumes cuits qui dominait vraiment trop. Over-powering cooked vegetables taste.

A golden pils with a thin white head. Fresh grainy malt with light German hops. In mouth, super fresh pils with grainy malt and nice crisp fresh hops. Tasted at Festival des Fromages de Warwick, June 14, 2008.

Draught at Mondial 2008
Appearance: dark gold with fizzy white top. Fine carbonation.
Nose gentle yet quiet proper “Pilsener hop” aroma , mineral hay like with golden clean malt base.
Flavor/Palate : Soft malted base , clean full –Grain character. Gentle , light yet solid hop profile. Quiet nice rendition of Bohemian pils.
