A dark amber APA with a thin off white head. Pungent hops aroma, with caramel and treacle. In mouth, a classy APA with good malt base, c-hops, nutty notes and sustained roastiness. Festival Bières et Saveurs, August 29 2008.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 lefossoyeur (272) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 3, 2009
Pours a reddish amber with a thick and lasting foamy white head. Nice fresh hops aroma with hints of grapefruit, altough the intensity is a little thin. Easy drinking with a medium-light body, with a good presence of caramel malts, simple but nice bitterness, and very quaffable. I loved the carbonation on that one. A nice session pale ale.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Marheb (669) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 17, 2012
Sapiné, citronné avec une présence malté très secondaire pour une pale ale. Une amertume moyennement rigide sur un corps assez croustillant. Excellent buvabilité.

Draught at Le Saint-Bock. Pours a clear yellow-gold with an average size diminishing white head. Mild but nice aroma and flavour of hops, grain, plenty of fruit, mild sweetness and caramel malt. Medium bodied. A good version of the style, I enjoyed it.
