COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspiré de ce rocher en perdition au large des Îles, Corps Mort est un vin d’orge salin et robuste. Brassé à partir de grains fumés, ayant frayé avec le hareng du «Fumoir d’Antan», il offre une alliance de saveurs riches et sauvages ayant un fort potentiel de vieillissement.

Excellente bière, bien équilibrée. Goût fumé, un peu salé. Arôme de fumée, d’épices. Un des beaux produits que cette micro-brasseries a à offrir.

Bottle 341 ml. Clear orange-light copper beer with a medium off-white head and fair lacing. Nose of caramel, smoked malt and malt. Taste is medium sweet Earthy and peated. Flavor of caramel, herbal/floral, salt and smoked malt. Slight bitterness. Mouthfeel is sirupy. Medium to long duration of aftertaste. Warming alcohol but at 11% abv, alcohol is well hidden. Superb balance and nice complexity. Amazingly drinkable for an 11% abv beer. Pleasant surprise, a superb beer!

Bottle 341 ml. Orange-copper with a little white head. Aroma: spices, roasted malt, smoky (?), caramel, alcohol. Taste: very well balanced, with a good combination of bitternees, sweetness and saltyness. Dry finish. Overall, a very enjoyable beer. Bouteille 341 ml. Couleur orange-cuivrée avec un léger collet blanc (qui disparaît vite). Aromes: épices, malts rotis, fumée (?), caramel, alcool. Goût très bien balancé, avec une bonne combinaison d’amertume, de sucré et même d’un peu de salé. Finale sèche. Une excellente bière!

ABV: 11.0%. Clear medium orange colour with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, apricot, rubber - smoke notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, dark citrus - orange, rubber notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottle 341ml. Pours hazy orange, with almost no head (whitish). Aroma is of malt, salt, caramel. Taste is of malt, sweetness, salt, slight caramel. Bitter finish, Well balanced, full bodied. Very drinkable for a barley wine. I would recommend.

Hazy orange-amber color, small creamy head. Mild aroma, light smoke character, malt, also light sourness. It has a slim body, malt flavor, quite high alcohol perception, high salty and marine presence, and some astringent character in the end.
