Bottle - 341ml. Cloudy orange body with a thin off-white frothy/bubbly head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with flowery and honeyish hints. Its fresh taste is slightly dominated by hoppy flavors. It carries fruity, malty, and sweet notes. Ends with a good, moderately warming, bittersweet finish. Average Belgian Ale.

(Rating #5348)

Pours a slightly hazy gold, with a nice thick head. Floral aroma with corn, malt, bit of banana, slight baby sick. Taste is sweet with a hint of bitterness. Sugar water. Carbonation is decent, but who cares, this is not a very good beer, especially from a brewer that makes one of my favourites.

Bottle (341 ml). Thanks to Minderbinder for this one. Clear bright golden/amber with a small mostly disappearing white head and no lacing. Aroma is of grains/cereals with herbal notes and caramel. Taste is about the same with an herbal finish. Light/medium body. Medium carbonation. Not complex. Drinkable.

Boutip (5940) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 12, 2013
Bottle: Poured a light dirty amber color ale with a relatively large foamy head with average retention. Aroma of grainy malt notes is not the most enticing with very little other characteristics to report. Taste is also dominated by refined grainy malt notes with light caramel notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. This was a disappointment considering the other beers from this brewer.

Bottle 341ml. Pours golden with low beige head. Aroma is of malt, fruits, weird stuff, sugar. Taste is of malt, caramel, slight bitterness, slight abnormal acidity. Palate: Light body. Somewhat crisp. Overall: Fair bitter aftertaste, but that quickly vanishes to nothing. Refreshing, but not impressive at all. The malt profile does not feel adequate. Still, not offensive.

341 mL bottle from Broue Ha Ha served cool in a tulip glass. Hazy amber with a fair off-white head. Bright fruitiness, an equal blend of esters and phenols, sweet honey notes, boiled cereals and a little biscuit, smells quite sweet, bready. Medium+ body with fairly lively effervescence. Bread, bread dough, yeast, less estery than the nose, less phenolic too, both are still present, a bit of honey, not as sweet as nose would imply, a little Earl Grey tea(?); dry with gentle bitterness and a lightly estery, tea-like finish. Meh.
