Pint can. Yellow, nice head which goes fast. Smells a bit sweet, hints of malts, some dryness. The taste is alright but nothing special, quite refreshing, a little sweetness, hardly and hops at the end. It doesn’t really taste anything in fairness, but at least it doesn’t go horrible when it warms up a little. Won’t really buy this guy again.

Looks; white dusty tall foam, some lacings, straw golden clear body. Aroma; fruity caramel malts. Taste; caramel malts, white bread, butter, grains, fruity hints. Normal on palate, slightly dry. Finish; bread n grains. Not bad, just a boring finish. Pint can 5.2%, b@Rimi Pärnu EE, enjoyed@RateMeet@Rune’s 18mar2014.

Zarkam (524) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 21, 2014
500ml bottle from Tallinn, clear light yellow colour, small fizzy mostly vanishing head, little lacing. Moderately grainy aroma with some bread, light to moderate floral hops with a hint of pine. Taste is initially light sweet and acidic, turning into a lightly bitter moderately long finish with a slightly chalky feel. Medium body, oily mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Not the worst of the Estonian bulk lagers, somewhat more robust body. Not very interesting anyway, working selection as a 60c costing sauna beer anyway.
