3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled. Very deep rubyish black colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is mild chocolate, some dark fruits, mild liquorice and mild toasted notes. Flavour is quite big on the black chocolate with some mild caramel, toffee and slight fruity and liquorice notes. Not as chocolaty as young double choc stout, but quite similar in many ways.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Archives: 50cl bottle. Seasonal brew be A. Le Coq. Was rather drinkable baltic porter, with loads of caramel and some chocolate notes. I actually purchased several 4-packs. Hope they will do that again. Was a good seasonal brew. Both previous were good.

Bottle from Baltic Sea Spirit onlineshop
Pours deep black with fine, creamy off-white head. Smell has lots of dark roasted malts, coffee, some chocolate and sourish red fruits. Starts with delicious chocolatey notes, paired with sweet black malts, some coffee and caramel. The middle part has some dried dark fruits, paired with massive chocolate and roasted malts and some sweetish coffee notes. Goes into a coffee’ish finish with lots of roasted malts, chocolate and some dried red fruits. Really impressive Porter!

4.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Bottle. Dark, almost black colour with big creamy light brown head. Aroma of milk chocolate, cookies, honey, brown sugar, vanilla. Mouthfeel is so silk, creamy, like drinking hot chocolate, light bitter in start, than it brings out it’s bitterness and rich chocolate taste. Full bodied with creamy texture and soft carbonation. Excellent winter beer!
