Traditional strong light beer Alcohol content: 7.0% Package: 0.5 l glass bottle The bock-type beer has been brewed for centuries in Europe. The light Double Bock is the first of its kind in Estonia. UPDATED: DEC 23, 2011 Bottled, 0.5l. Clear yellow colour, thin white head with average carbonation. Malty aroma, with hints of brandy and light hops. Sweet malty taste with strong alcoholic note. Surprisingly it left me relatively bitter aftertaste. Medium bodied, slick texture and lively carbonation. Almost average...

7.0% ABV 500 ml bottle. Pale straw coloured pour with a thin white head. The aroma is fairly light with no really obvious sweet character nor the nasty sort of phenolics that I would typically associate with these. A little bit of apple flavour along with a touch of moderate sweetness. Pretty light and smooth with a little bit more punch than is typical, but it’s not the malt liquor craptasticness I was expecting. Decent actually.

Citric aroma. Very light colour. Well balanced taste. Pleaseant palate, alcohol content doesn’t ruin this. I’m no fan of strong pale beer but this one did qualify.

3/4 of a 500ml bottle from Regalia, Tallinn- the rest leaked into my luggage. Bock?! Surely so called only because it rhymes. Brilliant pale gold with a white skim. Marzipan, plum brandy, cut grass aroma. Light lemony lager with hints of grass, alcohol glow, rubber, marzipan and.. refuse. Biscuit in the aftertaste. Inoffensive, but if I could have chosen any of the beers I brought home to be sacrificed to the baggage handlers, it would have been this one.

Can, 7%. Pale yellow, no head. Citric aroma and a lightly sour watery taste. The high alc. is not noticeable but the taste remains boring. A popular strong beer loved by local hobos for obvious reasons.

2/10 0.33 l can courtesy of Marko, thanks for getting me a new beercountry! It poured pale yellow body with smaller, but persistent head. Malty, lemony and slightly alcoholic aroma. Similarly, the flavor is dominated by sweet honey malts, spiced with lemon and sharp alcohol bite. Full, heavy bodied with long warming and sweet finish. Expected more from it anyway, but still not so bad as it was to the others.

Golden body, white head. Malt of cardboard, sugar, malts and grass. Some alcohol is present. Another useless brew.

33cl can from SuperAlco, Tallinn. I read 7% on the can. Poured pale golden with a foamy white head. Aroma is sweet malt, vegetables. Flavor slightly sweet, corn, malt. Surprisingly not much alcohol in taste despite the high ABV. Still not something I would like to try again.

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2011 Straw color. The smell is sweet, with bitter undertones. The mouthfeel is fairly pleasant, medium bodied, but somewhat watery. The taste is yeasty, little to no hops, some alcohol, some sweetness. Overall, not bad for a high gravity beer.

Yellow coloured, small white head, sweet alcoholic nose. Sweet malty, sharp alcoholic and some vegetables with short syrupy finish. Crap.
