yngwie (3762), Kristiansand, Norway Oct 6, 2006 Updated: May 6, 2008 Bottled at RBESG-06, GTN. Clear, golden, with a white head. Sweet and fruity aroma with orange and wheat-notes. The flavor is fruity, with some alcohol, wheat and grainy notes. Medium body. A quite sweet brew, which I obviously liked better than the majority. Rating: 6-3-6-3-12-3 (060826)

Bottled, as Walter, 8%. It pours a clear, golden body, with a small, white head leaving lacings. Sweetish, fruit-syrupy nose with some cooked vegetables and grains. Evident alcohol as well. Sweet in the mouth, slightly warming, with flavors of fruit, fruit-syrup, some grains, a little alcohol, and a tiny bitterness towards the end. I remembered it to be better, I even think my updated rating might be too high, but I guess if you already downed a few, it might be more interesting. (080506)

pale yellow no head Taste: sweet grainy malty gluey I can’t taste alcohol level , tiny kick of hops in aftertaste. JorisPPattyn (4638), Antwerpen, Belgium Aug 25, 2008 Little head, big-bubbled, over dark golden beer. Grainy, perfumed, sweet-alcoholnose. Bitter-sweet, almondy, cheap alcohol taste - awful. Sharp alcohol-warming flavour and MF. Very poor - doesn’t deserve the moniker "Double Bock". Malt Liquor nails it. Thanks to Stefaan! janir (201), Oulu, Finland Aug 17, 2008 Very pale yellow color with quickly vanishing soapy head. Aroma is sweet malty with some alcohol.
