Rather soft and fruity, almost like a Bohemina pils. The strength shows in an edge and a warming finish. Very decent for a strong lager.

Apr 22, 2005 Updated: Oct 8, 2006(Bottle 50 cl) From German "Double Bocks" I’m used to the type being a strong, dark, malty lager. But this Estonian variety is only dark golden - at the most. But the alcohol is definitely there. On the other hand the head has gone missing - completely. Not that different from Danish Strong lagers as for instance "Elephant Beer". Sweetish and very potent without the strong alcohol making it exactly cloying. But not an exciting beer. 201003
