2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
0.4L bottle. Typical cheap lager with no quality. Aroma of rubber, malt, cereal, minimal hops. Taste - semisweet with light bitter, but flavor overall is not pleasant, seems like not from barley malt. High carbonated to me, light bodied. Again such money spent to make fancy bottle with nothing inside, pity.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle from Salacgriva Statoil. As usual. Big brewery is trying to make a decent beer and fails. Bottle looks nice though.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thin palate, watery, sweeter-malt finish than the usual for this brewery; strongly suspect that this is a relabeling of A. Le Coq Imperial Gold, also brewed at 4.8% abv at Tartu.
Earlier Rating: 5/1/2013 Total Score: 2.9
Slightly improved regular A.Le Coq in a fancy undersized (13.5 oz as opposed to the normal 16.9) bottle, this has the thin palate and wateriness of its brandmates, with a significantly mproved sweet-malt finish

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear golden with medium white OK stable head. Lacing weird but nice.
Aroma.. standard lager hops, ok malts, bit cornish
Sweetish with light bitter finish. OK balanced
As I was thirsty both times when I used this as thirst quencher, I can say that for this purpose it served well. No unpleasant aspects.. drinkable quite boring brew

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is salty, bready malts and some slight grainy and rubbery notes. Flavour is bready, some grains, butter, mild rubber and herbal notes. Semidry palate and quite hayish aftertaste.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
400ml bottle (Rimi, Tallinn)
Pours a rich gold, with a huge persistent tight, almost rocky, head. Does have nice aromatic noble hops in the aroma, with some soft sweet malts behind that. Typical lagery palate, a bit watery, with some crisp carbonation. Taste does have a fair bit of barley to it, I donít think its an adjunct lager at all. Quite a good Czech pilsner hoppiness. Make this unfiltered, and this would actually be good.Finish does have some bitterness, more than most A le Coqs. This is a good tasty lager.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
400 ml bottle. E/J. BB 28/03/14. From Estonia. Thanks a lot Thomas!
Clear deep golden colour with a small white head.
Grainy malt, Play-Doh, fresh mint and mild hops in the aroma.
The flavour is pretty much the same, grainy malt, alcohol (surprisingly much for a 4.8% brew), boring grassy hops and vegetably elements. The bottle and the label gives an impression that this is something else than your average Baltic lager. Well, it isnít.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Clear yellow and expectable top, bread and chewing gum on the nose, perhaps a sugerless watery chewing gum taste with bitter notes that dominate at the end. Depends on the price, if on sale, itís decent with a nice looking bottle.
